  1. Not enjoying the whole "Companions can be any type of role from DPS, Heals to Tank". Before when we had to choose which companion we wanted to be out due to their role added to their background, story and persona. Now you can just use the same companion over and over and just adjust their role as needed. If that is the case then why have all these other companions when one is all that is needed to do the whole game. It also takes away who they are are. A healer is supposed to be soft and kind hearted where as a Tank is supposed to be hard and relentless. Having some one like Khem Val or Lord Scourge healing just doesn't feel right and takes away from their story and character personas.
  2. I run a guild and unless a member lets me know they will be offline for an extended period of time like same Military service or schooling or something along those lines, I usually only kick out members that have not logged on in the past 90 days. I am constantly recruiting new members every week so to have an active guild. An active guild means members can do Heroics, FP's, WZ's or Op's together with out waiting on the Group Finder. So we try to keep it as active as possible. If they can't get on in 3 months then we boot them, unless they inform us that they will be back. I have had members out for a year and come back.
  3. Excited for the new expansion because the video looks awesome, but I am a little confused on the direction it is going. 1.) Is Knights of the Fallen Empire an expansion of Swtor or is it a Reboot of the game starting us all over with new game content from lvl 1? What will the game play be like for a new character that I create at lvl 1. Will it still have the same game content/story lvling experience that we had before revolving around the sacking of Coruscant and beyond? or will it be replaced with the Fallen Story line? What will happen with my lvl 25 and 35 characters where I have not yet finished with their story lines? Will they also be erased to make way for the new Fallen content? or will we still be able to play the Sacking of Coruscant chapters 1-3 of the classes just as before? 2.) You stated you wanted this expansion to be more along the lines of KOTOR in story but does that mean that you are eliminating the whole Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) experience of team work and questing together on the planets thus making it more of a Solo mode game play with the option of Co-Op Flash Points/Operations only? 3.) Where do we stand as far as Guild's and Factions go? Will we still have the Republic and Sith factions? Will there now be a 3rd Faction, the New Empire? How does this relate to PvP in both World PvP as well as WarZones? Is it going to be a free for all or will we still have the Republic or Sith factions as well as guilds for both sides. A lot of these and more questions seem to be floating around the Forums. I would like to basically know some of the answers because the description sounds more like a Reboot of the game moving towards a Solo adventure rather than a the MMO that we all are accustomed to playing.
  4. I have some suggestions to help Guilds be more controllable for GM's as well as fun for all members. 1) A listing of when new recruits joined the guild, who invited them and when they left, either because they deleted a toon, just left on their own accord or because someone removed them from the guild as well as who removed them. This would allow GM's the ability to gauge more closely as to who it is helping recruit in the guild and also who left so that way the GM can investigate as to the why (perhaps it is because someone in the guild pissed off other people, so they left. you don't want that kind of person in the guild destroying it like a plague). 2) Co-Gm controls. It would be nice to give Co-GM's the same controls as the GM so they can help run the guild when the GM is offline. Most Guild's have multiple leaders that help maintain and run their guilds. Most of my Co-GM's have to wait till I am Online in order to make adjustments because they don't have the settings to allow them to do certain things, like buying Bank tabs or Flag Ships. 3) A larger Message board. The current MoTD is to small to leave informed messages. All we can leave is cryptic messages usually referring to the Guild's external website. Also it would be nice to have a message board that members can post to so they can make suggestions for the guild's growth. This would be nice for Guild Flagships and/or Bases. 4) More Perks for Guild Members. XP and Rep bonuses are nice but it would be cooler for us to have Guild Missions that can unlock Mounts, Pets and Gear. Other games have done this and even given Guild's their own banners for members to be proud of for being apart of. 5) How about an in game VoIP system with a Guild Channel, Op's Channel, WZ Channel and so on. This would allow us to use an in game speech system so we could communicate with other members. At the present time most Guilds have to utilize an external system such as Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Mumble or Skype. An in game system would be more convenient to use for members. These are only suggestions and could be expanded on. What are your thoughts?
  5. So I'm excited about the new expansion (really excited) but have one concern. If I pre-order the expansion (and I most likely will because I love this game) are you (BioWare) going to make it free to everyone 2 months down the road like you did with the Hutt Cartel expansion. Making us pay now and then reimbursing us with just a couple of Cartel coins later because you lost so many members to other new games is not fair. If you are going to make it cost $19.99, then make it a requirement to be a Sub (they can always go back to Preferred Status later down the road). Don't then later on open it up to everyone who is F2P. Keep it for Subs only. Make them join and become Subscribers like other games do when they roll out their expansions. And before anyone says anything, don't get me wrong I have nothing against F2P players. But if you love the game then help support future expansions by Subscribing.
  6. I would like to see some Guild Perks for members such as like a Guild Banner, Guild Armor with Guild logos, mounts, pets and such. These could be earned from member participation in doing Heroic's, FP's, OP's and WZ's with other members. A system to track how many members have done runs together is nice. A Guild Ship would be nice for guild members to hangout at as well. Add mini games like Pazzak and Chess would be a nice addition for members to do while onboard as well as a practice room for PvP training. I would also like to see some more control over the guild for GM's. It would be nice if we had a little bit more room to add more info into the MOTD. Also when we open the guild tab the MOTD as well as the Guild Information boxes should be larger as well as have the scroll option to see more information. I would like to also know when members join the guild as well as who did the invite. More tracking information for GM's would make it easier to track members on how long they have been in the guild as well as who is doing their jobs of recruitment as well as other important information that needs to be tracked. A tab showing what members Crew Skills is along with what schematics they have learned so far would be helpful for members to know who does what to help out members. Different ideas and suggestions of better Guild Controls and Perks would be nice to hear about.
  7. I don't mind the added security, however we should be aloud to change our login name at least once and/or be able to create a handle for the forums. Having the same displayed for all those to see is not improving security, its opening up issues later down the road. Make it so we have a different handle for the forums/discussions and allow us a one time name change to our login.
  8. For those who are Crafting junkies, the Cartel Market is ruining it for us. If you are an Artifcer, you used to be able to make decent credits on the GTN for your cystals from lvls 7-49 in both Blue and Purple lvls (advanced Artifact). But now with the Cartel Market offering Artifact crystals for lvl 10 with +41 stats (lvl 50 stats), people don't need to get a new cystal untill they hit 50 and that would only be because they wanted to change the color. Same goes for Amormechs and Synthweavers. All the gear they used to make was good for ppl lvling up their chaters (1-49), but now the only thing they can make that is worth anything is Augments. Their Armor gear has become worthless due to the Cartel Market offering Adative gear for lvl 1 players. At this rate the Cartel Market will have replaced the Crafting Skills, thus ruining the Crafting part of the game. The Cartel Market should be nothing but Unlocks for the F2P people to access certain aspects of the game. Nothing Else. All gear, pets and speeders should be drops from Boss' (both WB's, HM/NM OP's and HM FP's), Reputaion Vendors, Security Vendors, CE Vendors and/or Social Vendors (all of which needs massive updates on their selections). The Cartel Market is become nothing but a tool for EA/BioWare to make more money even from Subcribers who support the game the most.

  10. The Space Missions though fine for PvE on a rail system, need to be updated with some PvP missions on a Full Control system. They could use (though older) a system simular to the Rogue Squadron Flight system. We want some real dogfighting, not point the guns at ships as they pass us by with no control of how the ship moves. And if they added an in-game Mic system for groups it would be so much easier to communicate with your fellow Group Members. Gives us a Guild Channel, WZ/Space Mission PvP Channel, OP's Channel, and a FP/Herioc Channel. It seems other big MMO's have in-game mic systems, though they may not always be the best, they still are better than nothing.
  11. Why is it that as a Subcriber I have to fork out cash to buy Cartel Coins for gear that randomly drops from Cartel Packs. Why can't the developers make the Cartel Market all about Unlocks for the F2P people instead of greed towards all players. The Random gear from the Cartel Packs should be made as drops from bosses in OP's or FP's or even part of this new Legacy Acheivements or Reputation systems. Subcribers should not be punished into having to spend even more money on gear when we are already paying for a game that should already have it in the first place.
  12. GM's need more control and information regarding thier guilds. One example would be when members join or leave the guild. We need to know when they joined or how long they have been an active member (not just someone who has joined and never plays their toons). We need to know when someone leaves the guild and why. If a member leaves or deletes their toon, the GM should recieve, via mail system, a notice stating that they left and why. If they leave, they should be prompted with a box as to why they are leaving. This will help the GM be more aware of why ppl are leaving, is it because they just didn't find fulfillment in the guild or was it because someone angered them into leaving. If it is the latter, this system will help the GM's to take actions to improve thier Guilds making it a nicer community. Please Update the Guild System with more controls and feedback so Gm's can have a happier more productive guild.
