  1. this is where Bioware is keeping the dirty laundry? This thread got me here, http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=459178
  2. Smear that single player perspective more... and no one will ever play another game where they can affect the outcome of a server.
  3. autoskip don't do anything, unless it only gets rid of half the CRAP
  4. I saw the pics of the new armor. not for nothing, but if you put in pay for content that is simply a burlap robe that goes over everything, with a hood and sell it for $50 Cash you will sell alot of potato sacks. I hope the art guy didn't sign on that mercedes yet.
  5. Everything about it is poorly thought out, poorly implemented and shockingly is unpopular. The gear no r140 complete sets for a sniper, pve or pvp. Seriously I know they are trying to fool you, could a qb with a range of 38 yards get drafted?
  6. Take it down at 9am EST when people go to work/school, and if they don't its a good opportunity to go job hunting, or take a shower.
  7. -NO- I have not seen (1) Great Idea... I don't think you will ever find balance in a class based system. There is no real pvp server. There is no consequences for anything. There is no reason to be a crafter. There is no reason to have social members to a guild. In fact they make the whole guild look bad when they get beat 1:10. I am not sure what they are looking for in this but I am certain a lot of people want to go back to the grass roots mmo.
  8. Sir, As a ganker and griefer since the beginning of time there are 4 types of players. PVP and PVE is fine but you know what the majority is Socials and Crafters...call them soft targets You have completely ignored them, "if they are not fed I cannot eat." Now I know this is a consensual pvp game and those socials and crafters are not required to do anything. Infact from EA's perspective they should play sims. You have massive old school guilds, coming from SWG and the heart of those guilds are the soft targets. They are the ones who welcome you online they are the ones that skip everything to show a noob a mushroom. They are completely useless and unwanted here, they have no use. Infact they are a liability and they can make a guild look bad if they decide to venture off. I know your busting *** to copy another successful mmo, but there is no reason you cannot enter the fold the softies. Make them the most important part of the game. With the exception of 1 of a kind lore items, softies should be able to create the most amazing things in game. At least well enough for guilds to want them around, even if they do give the enemy a million screenshots of 5v1 losses. If any of you want to tap into the brain of a genius, my price is beer, and maybe strippers or cash.
  9. I am on the pvp server port nowhere. Anyone who knows me either knows me or hates me, I don't do much more than troll and harass and pvp. I have been around the block since the beginning, Your craft system is atrocious. Do you have any idea how large the crafting contingent is? Do crafters really have to wait for expansion packs to get new recipes? There is nothing in the SWTOR box that makes crafters remotely unique. First... Nothing should ever be repaired to full durability EVER efinEVER. The crafter that made such item should have a chance at getting damn close but never ever full. Crafted gear should have the possibility of being the best stuff in game. Crafters should have the ability to craft and sell everything they can make. Leave Rikata stuff alone, give it 50/75/100 uses and usable by anyone. Alchemy/Enrichment... Crafters should never have to pvp or pve there should be a social game. I take my tier one item x10 and make 1 random item of the same type but one rank higher 10 rank 2 makes a till 6 then have it take 100 to make a 7 and 1000 to make an 8 10k to make a 9 and 100k to make a 10... I would make rank 7+ legendary. Engineering... instead of using reverse eng, player crafter can dump money into research. Now, it may require special tools or workstations to accomplish things, place those in pvp/pve areas, however make it so the crafter can generate a quest that can be accepted and in it the quester is given instructions on what to do. There are people I've gamed with, that simply want to belong to something and every decision in this game further alienates those people that are just not good at gaming. I know retired folks that are gamers, I am talking even in there 70s one an author from NY the other a retired cop from Hyannis Mass, Both rolled with me in DARKFALL of all places. A friend of mine used to make comments in war zones about all the tomato cans, its not a disparity between haves and have nots its more than gear. If SWTOR does not do something to make everyone remotely useful, it is going to destroy the established community. Crafting should be looked at as an important facet and not an afterthought for bads , alts and tomato cans. I want to thank Desir of Port Nowhere for re introducing me to the "Tomato-Can" Statement.
