Using Windows 10. Not sure about the firewall. I'm just confused because I was playing the game just find before I went to bed last night....wake up today and I'm having these issues.

I'm at the character selection screen and where you click play for a specific character it just says not ready. When you hover over that it tells me that I can't join until the planet the character is on has been fully downloaded. I just played last night with no problems and now today I'm getting this issue. I tried contacting customer support via ticket and haven't gotten a reply in over 6 hours.

You all make some good points. People won't do World PvP if they don't want to....but then another one of you said that is the case because there is no incentive, which I agree with. Right now, you pick up a week/daily PVP quest, meet your quota and then stop. A simple quest shouldn't be the only motivation to PVP. There needs to be an actual system in place where one faction will have an advantage over the other faction if a World PvP area is conquered. Right now there are sooo many faction hoping morons that makes World PvP pretty much pointless. When I played SWG, I stuck with one faction the whole time because you were pretty much labeled a traitor if you faction hopped. This is just a theme park MMO and there is nothing unique about the game. I'm more and more starting to find myself sitting on Fleet doing nothing because there is nothing to do. I like PvP and would gladly subscribe to the game just to PvP....but right now there is nothing exciting going on. I know we all have our own opinions and I respect every one of them. But I for one am already getting bored with this game. I prefer this game over any others, simply because I like the Star Wars story....but there really needs to be some fixes.

World PVP needs to be a top priority for you guys. Warzones are boring and repetitive. World PVP requires more organization and can be more random and exciting. I understand you want to make this a popular game by making it easy for everyone to "win", but there needs to be a better ranking system for PVP. For example, levels of Imperial/Rebel rank would be sweet. Say for instance the top 5 characters with the most PVP kills for a month gets to hold the General rank for the following month. Just some kinda little perk for top PVPers. People need to learn that they can't have everything in the game, and the players who do commit their time and skill should have little rewards. I joined a PVP server for a reason and the only PVP that happens is in Warzones...which shouldn't be. Having and maintaining and improving World PVP areas is a must!
