  1. Endgame content always has been and always will be the defining grade of an MMO, from EQ to WoW and now to SWTOR the success is always tied to it's top end. You can only level so many characters, only run through so many story arcs, SWTOR sought to bring narrative driven gameplay and so far has done so very well. But if they fail to properly expand the endgame content it will not thrive, only wither, something Bioware is definately aware of. I hope they bring a new flavor to endgame raiding, as there are only so many kinds of fire one must not stand in, but that raiding will need to be there. Progression is simply a natural growth from it, and stems well before WoW, FoH and Furor are reknown for pushing content in EQ, WoW simply recongnized that as a draw and catered heavily to it. Achievements only serve as a system initiated timestamp, the reward has always been moot, an icing on the cake for endgame raiders. We always pushed content to push ourselves. SWTOR will cater to it, hopefully not to the extent that WoW did, but it will. After all, if there wasn't a best on your server, country, region, or world, how else would you measure yourself to push yourself higher?
  2. We've got about 6 so far, without attempting to be a local area guild. 4 from Columbia, and 2 from Aiken (3 people apparantly saw my earlier post and decided to join up)
  3. 4 Columbians and 2 Aikenites on Canderous Ordo Empire, despite not intending to be a local area guild.
  4. Columbian(Irmo) Checking in, running a guild with 2 other Columbians on Canderous Ordo Sith Side.
  5. Unless there is an in game recognition of it, it's a nonpoint. Competing against less than 10% of the potential population is just a small pool, you got more people than anyone. Good on you for getting them down. Frankly, given the immersive leveling system I'm probably not going to take most of the first sets of world/server firsts seriously. A lot of people are going to sit down an enjoy the game, as most of them are here to distance themselves from That other Game. Hell, I'm not even openly recruiting yet because who is playing what class, and who is just here to sightsee a new mmo, and who is here to grind out and push content is still up in the air, everyone starts a new game with the best intentions.

    Canderous Ordo

Talisman is coming to Canderous Ordo. Kelzoran and I decided that Star Wars: The Old Republic was going to be the next significant game in the genre, and decided to bring the long legacy of Talisman with us. Our officer core is experienced in pushing content, all of us were here when we breached the top 100 in the world in the Lich King expansion in the Game Which Shall Not Be Named, and we expect to maintain a similar pace here as well. The guild will be open to all friends, all family, and almost anyone who wishes to join. While we don't enforce an age limit, we have a high expectation of maturity, and generally have an average age of around 25+. Within the guild we will have a dedicated raid team, slots on the raid team will be constantly earned and evaluated. Talisman has always walked a fine line between casual and hardcore, for the few hours a week we set as raid times we expect a very high level of play and focus, otherwise this is a very loose and fun place to be.
