  1. Also in the queue. Is the server actually full, or is this an ongoing problem? Additionally, I keep getting bumped up higher in the queue. It tells me as a subscriber I have highest priority in the queue - so how do other people keep bumping me further back if I do in fact "enjoy the highest priority"? I am honestly curious on how the queue works if that keeps happening.
  2. I am looking to hire pest control. It seems a Ginx has wandered in my Nar Shaddaa stronghold and no amount of raid (or gunfire) will even budge it. Seriously, though, in my entry area is a Ginx. It is tied to one of the hooks. It is not mine. I did not place it there. I cannot interact with the hook it is tied to, so I really cannot remove it. Switching characters, logging in and out - still there. Did not see this in a quick scan of know issues, so I am curious if anyone else has this, or knows what fixes it. It does not cause any game related issues (other than one hook not be available - not a big deal). Just really weird.
  3. Which is great if you have Armstech components to make them...
  4. I have had all the legacy perks for Fleet Pass and Quick Travel for some time, and up through yesterday I had no cool down on Fleet Pass and a 10 minute cooldown on Quick Travel. Today, I have a 3 hour cooldown on Fleet Pass and a 30 minute cooldown on Quick Travel. Please restore these to what they were. Thanks!
  5. No. The game economy is really too small to be able to apply that as an excuse. There are not competing GTNs, there are not wholesalers who sell to manufacturers. It is not required for crafters to rely on anyone else to make their items. The base problem is this: I have the mats. As an example, I can either craft an item and sell it for 10,000, or I can just sell the mats and make 14,000. Other than "because I can" or to benefit myself, there is not a real value in taking the time, effort and resources to learn schematics to make something when I can make more money by selling the materials. This is not really an issue of "manufacturers need to find better prices for their materials" it is "do you want to sell your materials and make more money, or sell crafted items and make less".
  6. I actually find people who craft and sell gear at a lower price because they want to "help" people to be the hardest on the whole system. Really, it is not cost effective to craft most things for sale anymore. The materials sell for higher than the finished product pretty frequently. If the economy worked like a normal one, crafters would be able to purchase mats, make their items, and still sell them for profit. Going that route tends to lose you money in the current system, because people tend to sell the finished products too low while continuing to pay higher prices for mats so they don't have to wait to make more. If the parts are worth more than the whole - why bother trying to sell the finished product? So right now, I will sell mats, because I would like cash. I will buy things people list way too low and resell them at a higher price because I can profit without wasting valuable mats. Until crafters start charging higher prices for their items, this is going to be the situation in the market. But it means most crafters will have to start doing that in order to make crafting items generally profitable.
  7. Healers are not always in a group. Sometimes, they just run with their companion and do missions solo. That is a viable option. And for those Operatives, this change has made OS fairly useless. I generate enough aggro with healing - using an AOE that doesn't kill trash mobs is not of any use to me. I don't need more reason for mobs that now have more hit points to all attack me. That's dumb - why would any healer want that? I am better off with me and my tank or DPS companion using other tactics that generate less aggro on me. This isn't about my DPS numbers getting cut, this is about an AOE actually making threat management more difficult than it is worth when using an ability. A level 48 ability, no less. After testing it, I actually find it is more advantageous to take down trash mobs one at a time than use OS, and further I find OS to only be something I pull out in boss fights when I am sure I won't generate enough aggro or need to take aggro off my companion for a bit anyway. They wanted it to still be a great AOE, and it is absolutely not for my operative. It is okay occasionally with single targets, though.
  8. OP - maybe. I can think of at least one AOE that did (and still does) more. Now it is decidedly underpowered, since I can craft grenades that do more damage. The slider went way too far in the other direction.
  9. Yeah, they claimed they wanted to keep it an exceptional AOE - instead, it is a waste. When I can make Cybertech grenades that do more damage? My Trooper has had Mortar Volley pretty much the whole game, and it still does more damage than my Agent's Orbital Strike used to do. What kind of end game ability is it now? I am a Healer spec'd Operative, and this was something I could use to run solo through high level dailies. Not anymore. Now instead of doing serious damage to groups and then finishing things off with my companion, it just draws a bunch of aggro I don't need. Oh, I can still run solo, but using OS now becomes more of a hindrance. Letting me use it again in 45 seconds instead of a minute does not seem to be a trade-off that is of any use to me. It is now more like throwing a bee-hive at a bunch of bears. They get stung and get pissed at me. If the trash is low level enough where OS would clear it now, I can do it faster with Shiv and Overload Shot. What a waste.
  10. I can only speak on the Darkness tree, but if you go that route, you shouldn't have much trouble with PvE material. After playing a Knight, Trooper, and Agent, Darkness Assassin has been the easiest run so far in PvE. The skill progression has made picking up the skills and where/when to use them pretty easy, and survivabilty has not been an issue for me as a result. If you do not care for tanking, though, then your mileage may vary with the other two skill trees..
