  1. Also the whole fps problems comes from FX The only setting that we dont have in the options... If we could set a lower quality it would be a good fix to begin with but i wont count on it...
  2. Oh and yes, when you enter pvp and combat if you check your fps it's always red...so the CPU is doing 80% of the job if not more...often a problem with MMOs though. But still coding is just very bad....makes me smile when i remember in 2011 when bioware was selling us epic 100+ players battles...they forgot the * *this feature wil be running at 5fps, enjoy
  3. thx all for your replies. Well i did a few tricks and manage not to fall under 35 fps...average with combat 45 so it's ok. It's just a bit sad but well looks like we have to do with it xD have fun
  4. Hi all, As many i played Swtor when it 1srt came out. At that time i had a slow computer and game was almost unplayable in warzone (15-35 fps). 2 years later with a new middle end machine (I5 3570K GTX 760) i came back to the game. Better experience, made a LOT of reroll (5 characters from 25 to 40) and mainly pvp. Well when you are still in the 1-30 pvp framerate can go down but still ok...(35-110 fps) But when you reach 30-54 and with the new skills and FX it goes down (25-110 fps) Even 35 fps is not acceptable for any good pc pvper...45/50 would be the best bet especially when playing melee. I have read a LOT to try to fix the problem, i use swtor unleashed, 8 gig ram, an SSD, nvidia inspector and custom AA etc... But whatever i do even in the lowest settings when a lot of FXs are around fps drops like crazy and OFC bioware didnt put any setting to lower this...i'd love to have low fx in exchange of 30 fps in pvp... So to all the lvl 55 Pvpers, tell me are you all playing with 30 fps in heavy fights ? if not what's your magic trick. It makes me so mad everytime....can't stand it anymore...sad because it's a great game.
  5. Well they do poor damage but are resistant at least in the 30-54 warzones. I was facing a Tank powertech in a warzone he was 35 or so and was nearly unkillable. Took us 4 of us to kill him. As a Marauder i just ignored him in the end he had lots of utility but very low damage. 180k or so at the end with only 2 deaths.
  6. Thx so i'll just turn shadow off for pvp
  7. Hey all Playing on a I5 3570k and GTX 760 Using swtor unleashed and 8 gig ram Using Max settings Works pretty ok but when it comes to warzones and big fights fps can stutter a bit and go down to 30/35 which is not acceptable for me I know next step is lowering options in menu. What tweaks can i use in game to improve fps when pvping ? Shadows ? Shaders ? Thx in advance for advices
  8. cant be... for example if i get the path from my launcher shortcut that what i get ! C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\launcher.exe
  9. Right now i have a 1.5g ram drive with letter T: If i go in it i have SWOTOR > swotor > settings (shorcut)
  10. As u said i tried doing CD (C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\SWTOR\retailclient\) It says the same erroe specified path do not exist...so thats where the problem is from ?
