  1. Wouldn't getting the gunship for free for a loyalty reward be sufficient? Making people who came back late pay 5000 fleet requisition points for it. This seems reasonable to me. I am not complaining this is more constructive criticism. I can wait till February. I'm not stomping my feet and threatening to unsubscribe. I hear what you're saying. I can fly a strike fighter just fine. I just think it's going to lead to this happening with more content. whether it's classes or content to the returning subscribers. It kind of goes against what they told everyone upon releasing Free-to-play. Is it the end of the world? No. Could it be a start to something worse? Sure.
  2. Gunship is content. Not giving all subscribers access to the Gunship seems a lot like not allowing subscribers to play specific classes. This sets a president that in all reality could lean toward not allowing subscribers to access all content, like they said would never happen. Example would be if Bioware gives us a new expansion with new classes yet wont let people coming back to see the new content play any of the new classes. This is a terrible idea. Your "get over it" argument isn't very valid here.... Also, I was an active subscriber up too right after the expansion. I was in the original beta testing group. It's not like I converted from free-to-play. I paid for my expansion. I stopped my subscription when real life called for it.
  3. Nope... Apparently you have to wait until February. At least that's what people have said. There's not any official information on this as far as I can tell.
  4. BREAK OUT YOUR TINFOIL HATS! Any subscriber before November 1 got the gunship for free. As it sits now, anyone who was not subscribed before November 1 does not have any access to the gunship. I, of course, fall into this category. In all seriousness. Bioware did tell subscribers that they would not ever be restricted on game content. Executive Producer, Jeff Hickman said, when he announced Free-To-Play. Link - http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20120731 I know, I'm throwing pebbles into an ocean. Honestly though, all subscribers should have at least access to acquire the gunship. If it's through 5000 Fleet requisition points or some other means. I understand that Bioware wants/needs revenue generators and that the cartel market is needed. To me, not having the Gunship at least purchasable with CC coins is Bioware missing a huge chance to gain more. Though I believe, as stated in the link above, that all subscribers should receive all content for the price of subscribing. I understand that this is early access. I do realize that when Galactic Starfighter is released to preferred and free-to-play that this would probably resolve itself. It's mostly my inability to wait, I guess. I know Bioware is probably sick to death of the whole " Jeff Hickman Lied To Subscribers". I'm not here to beat that dead horse. I just ask, politely, that the devs reconsider this and add the gunship as purchasable to all subscribers. Hell add it to the Cartel Market as well. PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY.
  5. That's what I would of thought but I don't see anywhere to actually buy it at all..
  6. Title says it all. Can a returning sub get a gunship at all? I don't see any on the Cartel market. My hanger only shows strike fighters and scouts.. Someone tell me I'm overlooking something please..
  7. /Signed Every MMO I think I've ever played has had some sort of random/roll or dice command. Even the ancient MUD's had these and this is pretty much where MMO's were birthed. Come on guys (BioWare) As a guild and Raid leader it's not fun to have to play "guess the number" or use an alternative web site in order to distribute a mount that everyone wants. Could we leave this on auto assigned loot? Sure, MAYBE if it actually worked correctly. But when DPS Sorcerers are getting healer gloves and healers are getting DPS gloves. Yeah well, we need a system that works..... I think you need to be patching this in pretty quickly or your going to see a whole crapton of people posting rage/quit over this.
  8. Ok, not really sure if this is something I am missing or a bug/exploit. Over the last few days in the Alderaan pvp I've noticed that the republic are taking the empire side turret first and ignoring the middle. In the process of re-taking the empire turret I've noticed that somehow the republic are dropping of their mounts early right next to the turret. This makes it pretty hard to take this turret back when they are almost instant spawning on our sides turret. Am I missing something here? Is this intended? Sure the heck sounds like a major exploit to me.
