  1. The "event" isn't worth resubbing for...it's terrible, I'd save your money until actual new content comes out.
  2. I decided just yesterday to cancel and my sub runs out this Saturday. The problem is it's hard to come up with just 5 reason to cancel, because there's so many. 1.) No new content: My guild and I have been clearing the hardest things for over 3 months already. I can't remember when EC came out, but it was 4, close to 5 months ago maybe? For 4 new bosses? That's just unacceptable. 2.) Bugs, Lag, etc.: So on top of no new content, they are trying to remedy their old content or in some cases don't even care to fix it. The instances are still horribly laggy at times, which while you can work around it in some cases just is very unprofessional. It also leads into my next reason... 3.) No open world PvP: Ilum was a complete bust. There was almost no point to go there, and if you did you had to expect terrible gamebreaking lag. That the game engine can't handle 20 people in the same area fighting is a complete oversight. This doesn't allow for any epic battles or events to take place, and seeing how when you think Star Wars you associate "epic" it's a letdown. 4.) Free to play: While I don't think this is necessarily a bad idea, it shows completely the direction the game is heading. As it stands, this game is not worth 15$ a month and the content released shows it. I've played every class extensively, and thanks to rested xp and such it didn't take long to max level and gear most of my class characters. 5.) No communication, or fulfillment of promises: So we just received this new event, which is essentially more DAILIES (which is in no way to be considered content), and it's just for cosmetic items and such. Additionally, the patch is pushed back to next month which would deliver us this new content, and I find out in a random post on the forums. But what about all those other features we were told were coming? Guild capital ships, new warzones, planets, new operations!? We have received almost no feedback, or information regarding these and many other ideas. Instead, we receive something essentially useless, like Legacy. Like I said it was hard to come up with just 5 reasons, and some could be divided into multiples. I enjoyed playing the game, but it has become frighteningly stale. There were some huge mistakes made in development and in some of the areas they focused upon, but the game still does have potential. If they can really fix their errors and make a strong come back I may decide to give it another shot, but with GW2 coming out there is probably very little room for SWTor to continue to disappoint.
  3. Yesterday we had a 4th bomber spawn, but it did so when the walker was in its vulnerable state almost right away after the 3rd bomber. I was able to tank it just fine until it blew up so it wasn't a problem, but that was still definitely a bug. What we are still experiencing as a bug is Kephess 1-shotting tanks after breath. I and our other tank would continually die instantly after the breath was cast to his Savage Arcing Slash. It wouldn't seem to matter when we taunted Kephess off each other, it was just instant death after the breath. We tried during the beginning of the cast, right before the cast finished, right after, and every time there was nothing we could do. The 4th bomber, while an annoying bug it's still able to be handled, but Kephess bugging out and 1-shotting tanks is a wipe every time. I'd just like to add that we've been killing Kephess for months, had no problem taking him down, and never experienced this until the last couple weeks. It needs to be looked at because there's absolutely nothing you can do to prevent or work around when this is happening
  4. My opinion: Pyro >> AP This is just from my own personal experience, but Pyro for me has far outshined AP. AP has some very nice skills, I won't deny it. HO is really nice against classes with knockbacks, and there is essentially no worry over heat management. That said I just don't do nearly the damage that Pyro puts out, especially in burst. I know some of you mentioned that your survivability was greater as AP but I don't see it. With energy rebounder I have shield up a LOT more, and I don't have to be melee all the time to still do good damage. Heat management is of course much more sensitive but only in really extended fights. The few benefits that AP provides just doesn't outweigh what Pyro brings to the table, and I would consider blowing healers and players up significantly more valuable in "utility."
  5. It's varied on Sith Wyrm. Average around 30-40 on the Imperial fleet and 20-30 on the Republic. That's as of this afternoon, and can change if it's peak times.
  6. They should have just put the 2 PvP East serves onto Po5 and have been done with it, without a doubt. The problem is they opened up a new destination for PvE East, The Shadowlands, and it needs another wave of 4-5 servers to get a lot closer to the other 2 destination servers Jedi Cov. and Cand. Ordo. That would leave only 8-9 servers which are still relatively low still in population and unlikely to fill up very much of a server. There's no garauntee it would be healthy and sustaining really.
  7. This is something that seriuosly worries me as well. I'm on a PvE East server, and one of the remaining that have yet to be transferred. If they opened up a new destination server with the intent for it to only be standard, and to take the inflow of those who haven't transferred or those who resub at a later date, with the intention that the server would fill up slowly. This wouldn't be any sort of garauntee that the server would turn out to be filled like the others. Yes it's speculation, but since they haven't been straightforward or explained anything it's definitely a possibility.
  8. So not being able to play for a service you are paying equally for, while others are, and being disgruntled is somehow childish? It sounds more to me like you are ok at being taken advantage of.
  9. How is that complaint "very childish"? This is your opinion, and a biased one at that since you have been transferred.
  10. See you just don't get it. Your server has had transfers and you are able to play the game. You clearly aren't able to sympathize with the people who haven't had them and aren't able to play, no matter what you say. If my server had transfers, I'd be playing the game, and I'd feel bad for those who didn't.
  11. You are able to play, we are not, yet we are paying the same. That is not equal.
  12. I and others are well aware of the disappointment you and others have in combining characters from your original server and the one you rerolled on. That will be worked out eventually I'm sure. The problem is you're able to play with those characters!! Meanwhile, those of us not transferred aren't even capable of playing with them!! We pay the same monthly fees as you do but are being shown inequity in the services provided to us.
  13. Quoting this again for those of you who clearly aren't getting it from servers who've already received a transfer.
  14. "Here are the themepark season tickets I sold you. Thank you for your purchase." "Yes it's one of those themeparks over there, but we don't know which one you'll find out later." "The others who bought tickets from me are in there parks right now, can't you see them? No sorry you can't go join them yet, you'll have to wait your turn. When can you get in you say? Shortly...shortly." Do you see what I'm saying here?
