  1. Perhaps the time of callousness is CAUSING the dreams. That doesn't mean he's suddenly a big softy. Being a big cold-hearted *** has consequences on your psyche. I would have seen that as a cool storyline for my Shepard. In fact, I regularly took the "I'm looking out for me" approach to 1 and 2...but I'm playing out a character arc with 3 where the pending destruction of EVERYTHING is forcing him to rethink his own life decisions and priorities. I'd suggest that perhaps you got lazy in your RPing.
  2. Can I point out that Bioware is awesome and this series is incredible and one GREAT evidence for that is your post? Cuz at first I was totally confused by your gender wording here and then I remembered taht YOUR main character is not the same as my main character. And I think that matters a ton and is really pretty great.
  3. Wouldn't know...I'm just 10 hours in...now I know there was one moment where I wasn't sure how to respond. That decision isn't a quick one to make...I had to think that through. It's moments like that I dig. Hopefully I find the rest of the game more entertaining than you did.
  4. You know what would be nice? Random encounters during travel. If you're going to have long travel, maybe put in some Red Dead Redemption kind of events that just occur that you have to hop off and deal with.
  5. Wow...TOTALLY disagree. There are some moments in the ME series where I've had two options of what to say that REALLY plagued me. I know several times I sat agonizing over an option because the game does such a great job of putting you in moral quandries. Oh well. To each his own.
  6. People complain about all the walking in orbital stations, etc. I dont super mind, HOWEVER, when I started playing ME3 last week I found I really liked when you are landing on a planet, the person that gives you landing authority asks if you need ground travel arranged to get you to your desired location. Then you can just pop up in the area that you want to be in when you land. Pretty cool in story way to make that happen. I would not be opposed to that being incorporated here.
  7. Voss is really giving me problems. I can't seem to I'm Sith Inquisitor...level 47...with what's his name...the big demon guy, as my companion. Anybody got any tips? I'm sucking up much in damage costs as I try again and again.
  8. I'm saying the story connection isn't a good one. Obviously I can say no. I'm saying I dont think they wrote a compelling bridge. I'm suggesting they could tighten that up a bit. Plus my main contention was just that I thought it was weird they called it a bonus instead of just yet another quest.
  9. I'm not against it...I'm suggesting the incorporation wasn't particularly smooth. I'm big on RP and motivation and it gets hard for me to mentally justify fighting a whole separate war on a planet while there's something fairly pressing going on. I think if I was LS it'd be easier...but it's hard for me to RP justify my guy doing much of ANYTHING that isn't personally advantageous. And after 50 levels of saying "only if you pay me" it gets old. I'm not a QQ-er...I'm saying they ought do a little side story tweaking to tie it in better. that's all.
  10. That makes sense I suppose. Cuz it's not like there are Class Quests and Bonus Quests...there are Class Quests and non-Class Quests and then Bonus Quests. I just thought that it'd make more sense to just toss them into the non-class quests without calling them out like they are somehow special...it's almost annoying though that you get told to visit your ship only to be told NOT to every time. Seems like there'd be a better, smoother way to mix this up over time.
  11. I dont get the whole planet Bonus Series thing. You "finish" a planet, head to your ship, and there's someone offering you a whole new way to save the planet. The first time I thought, ok that's interesting, but eventually you realize aint no way you're getting to your ship without someone asking you to save the day again. What is the strategy of calling these "Bonus" missions instead of just including them in the initial run of missions? Anybody understand this logic?
  12. There is no way 85% of players CARE about the dmg meter issue much less actual support their incorporation. So yes, you pulled numbers out of your ***.
  13. That's the way I read it...and that's why I said /agreed.
  14. Agreed. I play on an RP server and the other day I saw a random red letter name running around. Stood out and I looked closer and realized it was a damn Republic player. So I turned on my PVP flag and tried to take him out (and failed). A few minutes later after we took turns sneaking up killing each other I realized why I hated PvP and turned my flag off and went about my business. But if random PvP moments can happen on an RP server...you'd think you PvPers on PvP servers could organize SOMETHING.
