  1. So here's the story: I have a bunch of lvl 60 toons over on POT5, but kinda got tired of playing on a PvP server, so I started some new characters on this server. Currently I have a lvl 30 gunslinger, lvl 42 sentinel and lvl 44 DPS commando. (I've been getting each character through Chapter 2 so I have the buffs as I start each new one.) I'm about to start Chapter 3 on the sent and commando, and am looking for a guild with levelers, that does PvE/ops/endgame, and does regs PvP. Chapter 3 planets are big and dull and time-consuming and doing them without a guild can be a major suckhole. (No, my commando is not named Major Suckhole.) Any guilds out there that fit the bill and are taking on new members?
  2. I always just use the cardinal directions, east and west. If you're attacking, east is on your right. If you're defending, east is on your left.
  3. The other night my guild was doing a Dread Fortress Story Mode run, the first for several of us, but many had done it several times. When we got to the Draxus fight, there appeared to be a bug, but I haven't seen anyone else mention it or anything in the bug reports so I wanted to check here before submitting a report. Basically, we managed all the waves of adds just fine, and had Draxus down to about 48% health before he disappeared after wave 5. We got to wave 9, and Draxus did not appear -- just the Guardians and other adds in that wave. AFTER we cleared them, Draxus re-appeared, already enraged, and insta-killed the entire raid. This happened 5 times before we decided to call it for the night. It's not a matter of timing -- all the SM videos I've watched have shown the entire fight taking about 9-9.5 minutes on average, and we were well within that zone. It just appeared to be that he wasn't spawning at the proper time in the last wave, then coming back enraged. Has anyone else encountered this?
  4. Whoever the op was -- again, his toon name started with a "J" -- was grouped with members of Blood Bath. And 4 or 5 against a single player in PvE gear is obviously going to result in my death. And using stealth to attempt to get an unflagged player to flag is punk behavior. If you want your guild to get a reputation as griefers, good work! (And I've seen more than enough Hail Skroob 4-mans in PvP to know that "We really don't pvp at all" is . . . inaccurate.)
  5. More specifically, for every single point of damage you alone put out, the enemy team healed nearly two points. (1.94, if you're doing the math.) Great work!
  6. Yeah, when you're letting the other team's healer throw out 150k+ in healing, and nobody on your team has anything under Protection, you're definitely gonna do a lot of damage. You're going to lose -- which you did! -- but LEET DAMAGE!
  7. I am not nearly stupid enough to purposefully flag myself for PvP on Oricon while wearing mostly unaugmented 69s, and if I was, I wouldn't be here complaining that I had gotten a well deserved a**-kicking. The obvious other explanation is that the op unstealthed in front of a member of the mob and assumed I'd catch him in my target switching. Either way, it was a tactic designed to get a player who wasn't intending to PvP into doing so. Having been in plenty of WZs with your guild while playing my sniper, it's not surprising that that's the kind of behavior you'd need to resort to.
  8. Sorry, that's a load of BS. I arrived on Oricon, picked up my missions, grouped with two guildies who were unflagged and had already started, walked out of camp into the first area, unloaded Mortar Valley on the NPCs, and when I ran up to click the escape pod an operative from Hail Skroob whose name starts with a "J" unstealthed in red and demolished me. Then four of his buddies showed up. My guildies came back to meet me, I rezzed, and as we were going back into camp they again unstealthed around us and attacked again. Only after that, when we got back into the Rep camp and they came up around the side, did the others join in. It was punk behavior from a bunch of punks.
  9. So apparently these guys like to stand in the AoEs of unflagged players with no PvP gear on on Oricon and then attack them as a group of 4-5 on 1. Real classy, guys. Nice guilds.
  10. Not you, DainjaMouz, but Mr. "I am so smart! I am so smart! S-M-R-T!"
  11. I bet I can guess to within +/- 3 months exactly how old you are based on the way you write.

    Pvp is disgusting

?? I did the entirety of the Oricon dailies including the Heroic for the weekly in about 15 minutes with a guildie last night.
  13. I'm not insulting you, I'm engaging in idle mockery because you are a patently silly person. It sure seems to get to you, though, since you keep diving into Baby's First Book of Fifty Cent Words in an attempt to say . . . something. ETA: It is hilarious that you appear to need to believe that people hate you or are angry at you, when in fact what they're doing is clowning you. This, in gambling, is referred to as a "tell."
  14. Depending on enemy presence and density I can kinda see the first one - maybe they're hoping that if you both start planting and an enemy attacks, it will be a single-target attack that only interrupts one of you rather than an AoE? I don't advocate it in general, but if five of the other team are behind the spawn, I can see the reasoning.
  15. Don't you have some "friendzoned" GIFS to make and upload to Memebase or something?
