  1. There are many aspects of the game that needs to be improved in my opinion. I feel that the world is small, and there is absolutely no exploration and no risks involved anywhere in the game. If you fk up, oki get rezzed where you died and start over, what do you loose? Nothing, only some gear needs repairing.. Items and loot table is horrible, that is what im looking forward to in D3. At the same time crafting is abysmal, im not a huge crafter, but this system is just sad. There is no sense of achievement doing it.
  2. I'll expect about 1,4-1,7m subs. Dont expect to see an increase from previous report, some have fallen off the wagon. Including me, just my sub is still active for 16 more days. I also think a lot of players are holding on, at least until 1.2 is out, just too see what it brings to the table. All in all, im hoping BW will do some serious arsekicking with this game in time, and that will pull back a lot of players who have left, or are currently sitting on the fence. The next quarterly report will probably be more interesting, seeing as the game should have matured a little then, and people would have made up their minds properly. There are also some other mmo titles comming, albeit none of them should be a threat to swtor. I am curious to see if Diablo 3 will have an impact however, its a different genre i know. But it is a blizzard game, and i would expect there to be a lot of us who might drop what games we are currently enjoing, for the sake of some diabolical action.
  3. 16 days of playing time left... i honestly wish it was more. But cannot justify giving EA/BW money. Id rather spend it on beer. Hope they will manage to turn the ship around however, im a HUGE sw fan. So will check the forums every now and then to see if there is any good feedback. Got my fingers crossed for Diablo 3 in the meantime though. Not running to any other MMO's either, because none of them appeal to me, and frankly FunCom's new title is interesting, but its a FunCom game. And many of us remembers how AoC turned out. Crosses fingers for server merges, and a much improved game. That might pull back friends to play again too.
  4. Ended my sub earlier as well, but not because of 1.2. But because the game does not entertain me the way i had hoped. There are just too many things that need fixing, there are tons of good suggestions the forums made by smarter people than me. Hopefully BW will pick up on some of these, and make some changes. But until then im out. Hope to come back to a better game someday though. Until then, D3 is where my bum will be parked.
  5. I canceled after hitting 50, and seeing how empty it was. But resubbed to give them a few extra months. I have my doubts that they can fix the game, but i am hoping. Anyway, 2 months left.
  6. Jediduckling, do us a favour and dont breed.
  7. I have a hard time imagening how they can make loot even worse. Loot side of this game is the worst crap i have ever experienced. And for the above poster, if they are going to make crafting into some of the endgame content, then they really have a lot of work ahead of them. Positive notes, i like the orange gear system if that becomes endgame viable.
  8. It is truly a well optimized game, i can see this engine setting the standard for decades to come!
  9. Sadly, this. Your team may dominate the match without getting over the goal line, but if enemy has the ball once timer runs out, then... LOSS
  10. Serves you right for saying something negative about them.
  11. Hey all I just want to give applause to BW/EA for creating this amazing game. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the CE. Launched the game and played from first day of EA. I started the game, not knowing much about SW. But the voice overs, and thriving worlds immediatly sucked me in. From the get go, i knew that this was what an mmo and probably sw should feel like. I started an IA, and went rifleman when finally hitting lvl 10. Did take a while though, because there was just so much to look at. After a little while i finally hit tat, and enjoyed the scenery, doing the odd quests here and there. Looking out for sandworms and such. That was a little dissapointing btw, because i was exploring, and looking for sandworms, then suddenly i entered an exhaustion zone? I think they just put those zones there because they are hiding the worms well, and to keep us guessing. Did see some skeletons thou, but did not look much like a worm tbh, so a little work needs doing here. Anyway, i travelled on. And boy did i love the spaceship and travelling from planet to planet. The shuttle corridors, elevators, spaceports and orbital stations. Just made the game so much more fun, not to mention they look really good. Im glad they chose to do it this way. It just gives the game a proper roleplaying/immersive feeling! So after a while, i got to lvl 50. I still have a bit exploring to do mind you, there are still some areas on the world maps that are greyed out, i just cant seem to get to them. Perhaps with the right equipment? Mountainclimbing gear and some jumping skills? Or are they for grp stuff? Back to where i was, started on illum, and doing the dailies here, and wham. Love this way of doing quests, getting daily rewards like tokens etc. Then after i can buy gear for the tokens i get! So it was time to start some pvp'ing, illum is just working great here. There is world pvp all over! And the weeklies and dailies are really fun to do with an ops grp, there is a real challange to it. You have to get in a grp, then you have to AOE and stuff. Best MMO moment ever Then at last there is the crafting! Im really glad they approached it this way, you just assign some of your crew to do all the dirtywork and you reap the rewards. Really cool to see if you get a new recipie from reverse enginering. Then you can make really uber items. Well, gotta keep this short. Keep up the good work BW/EA A loyal fan!
  12. Give me a game like Cube world, developed into an mmo. I dont need super fancy graphics and tons of useless VO that costs tons of money that would be better spent elsewhere.
  13. - Legendary should be hard to obtain, im not sure i would restrict it to only raids. But it could very well be from golden enemies as well. But droprate should be low, as in 0,001% low. Its attainable, but you gotta be incredibly lucky to get your hands on a piece. From previous experience, that is what i find to be the most fun anyways. Stats should not be super compared to other pieces, but extra time should be spent making the pieces/items look unique and extrordinare. Not a single design per class either. SWTOR did something right with their orange gear, but there should have been set bonuses at 50. Which would have left everyone look a little more unique. Now everyone ends up looking pretty much the same, unless they choose to loose set bonuses etc.
