  1. You say this, but as long as I am paying a subscription for a service, they damn well better give me the service. If they decide to alter the deal, then there are many judges who will feel that, despite their legal jargon, this is a form of a scam since it is implied that the players have some level of "safe haven" in response to the money they are paying. Yeah, I've been in court rooms. Judges aren't so easily fooled by all this jargon like people think. Don't think for one moment EA/Bioware would be OK to just start yanking stuff away from people just to screw with them, for example. The backlash would be MASSIVE.
  2. I really don't care at this point. I am about to quit the game anyway due to how they've treated me. They really want to lose the most loyal customer they've had in this game's history, they can go right ahead.
  3. I am here... Just in tech support hell with Bioware. So far, they are not helping me and doing nothing but giving me the run-around and passing me off back and forth to different people. What is really horrible about all this is that I even called phone support and they confirmed that I logged in within 10 days (definitely within 30 days) but they claimed that only in-game support could help me. They claimed that if I submit an in-game ticket that they would personally monitor it and ensure it gets addressed. They even helped me type the ticket and how to word it OVER THE PHONE! In-game tech support is horrible and the worst I have seen in an MMO. Not only are they not helping me, but each time, they close my ticket, forcing me to open a new one and copy the previous ticket number. The latest response claims that perhaps I got hacked. I stated, "Well, why won't you help me, then?!" Only, to be met with the, "We don't get involved in Guild politics." reply... This is horrible... Phone support confirmed I logged in within 30 days and I log in on the same interval as my Republic guild and ownership never got passed to anyone on that guild. Also, there is no evidence of hacking on my account. My wife's account has been inactive for a while. I logged in to her account and it actually wanted me to pick a character to re-enable. The other thing that is odd is that one of the in-game responses did say that it appears that someone passed leadership to someone else in the guild and then that person started kicking people and then disbanded the guild. But, phone support said that the guild was still active. So, I am getting conflicting stories... No idea what is going on... All I know is that I have been playing this game since BETA and this guild has existed since BETA (back then, we created the guild before the game went live) and now I lost it because something glitched and now tech support does not care and nor does Bioware. I have been a CONTINUOUS subber since launch and this is the thanks I get? I HATE Bioware...
  4. I logged in yesterday to find my guild was completely gone. The guild consisted of only my wife and I and our alts. None of our toons are in the guild anymore. EVERYTHING IS GONE. I have not been very active lately, but have made it a point to log in on the guild master every couple weeks. As a matter of fact, I have a Republic guild (this one is Empire) that is set up the same way, and that guild is fine even though I log in on the same cycle. Guild master is the same on that guild, so I know it is not because I did not log in for too long... I need help. I submitted a ticket and they closed the ticket without helping. I am about to quit the game. I had way too much stuff on that guild to just lose EVERYTHING. Someone please help!
  5. So, apparently, Woad's Armor is a Armormech crafted item. Is this true? How do we learn the recipes? Only from Kai Zyken? Will deconstruction yield the recipe(s)? If so, what pieces/item levels do I need to deconstruct? On a side note, deconstruction is a terrible mechanic right now. No way it is 60% recipe unlock rate. I have deconstructed 3 dozen pieces and not learned a single thing....
  6. I personally won't play Anthem or any other MMO right now except for COH. Why? Because I can't afford another one and I am committed to this game. Anthem indirectly competes with SWTOR so it is not a smart model, nor would it be smart for EA to harm or cancel SWTOR when it is still the #2 MMO in the US. MMO's in general have a small player base compared with the old days and compared with extremely casual games like Fortnite, so I consider SWTOR a big success. But, just imagine if the KOTOR movie trilogy becomes a reality - the subs will skyrocket in this game. EA and Bioware should refocus on this game. There is no reason not to, at this point.
  7. This is easily fixed by the devs. They can create an exception that changes this sequence for the droid race only. Perhaps they can have Garza reluctantly give the rank [and complain about it haha]! With some some devo work, they could fix some various things like this for each class. I know there aren't many at all and they have the voice actors to do it. Would only require minor code. Plus, it would get people really excited to play each class again to play through and find these little things.
  8. I know this has been suggested before, but I've been thinking of this and have come up with some great ideas. Basically, droids are a huge part of the Star Wars universe and several of them in the lore are main characters. Many of us want to play one as a main character, so I've thought of a great [and fun!] way to do it. Hear me out. So, first, when a player would select "Droid" as their race on the character creation screen, a large number of customization options will open to them. Most armor will not display on the droid character, but I was thinking certain pieces such as hats would still display. This would be offset by giving the character many more customization options for the race. My idea is to give the droid branching customization types. There could be 5 basic droid types: Protocol, Medical, Assassin, War, and Worker. Each type would have a slew of customizations for appearance - including voice modulation choices. In addition, the Droid race can be any class except for force users. This falls right into lore. To correct for issues with character romances, humanoid romances will be disabled for droid characters. But, to add a new level of fun, new droid specific romances would be created specifically for droid companions! So, for example, droid characters can romance 2V, HK, or others! This adds a tremendous level of fun and depth to the droid race without screwing up anything. To balance all this out, I am thinking that the only limitation for Droids is that they cannot race change. Of course, down the road, Bioware could implement something that resets all romances and allows you to race change, but in the beginning, that would not be necessary. So, what does everyone think of my idea? I personally would love to play multiple droid characters and can see many people playing these characters. I can also see the droid romances being extremely fun and even hilarious, lol! Bioware should really consider my suggestion!
  9. First, please don't assume I'm an idiot. Regarding my multiple tickets, understand that each subsequent ticket was after the previous ticket was closed and the new ticket referenced the old ticket number in the body of the text. Also, I'm sure you understand that the people responding to the tickets are not the same people that are also fixing the bugs. My measly 6 tickets are in a sea of tens of thousands of tickets. Second, in regards to some of the other responses, re-rolling is not an option for many reasons. Yes, the character in this specific case is only level 31, but time was spent getting influence up and building a specific set of gear. To get that gear back will either cost me real world cash to unlock the pieces through collections, or will cost millions of creds in game. Neither are fair to me. I don't want to outright quit the game because I love the actual game and have been involved since Beta. The reason I am posting on this specific forum is to garner community support in an effort to make Bioware realize that this is a big issue. If people do not complain about it, they will assume it isn't a big deal.
  10. I have submitted 1/2 a dozen in-game tickets, posted on support forums, and submitted bug reports since 4.0 launched. Bioware even promised me personally in a CS response it would be fixed in "the next patch". That was 4 patches ago and it still isn't fixed. Basically, on several of my low level toons, my companions are completely missing. The game will not allow me to progress as a result. How are we supposed to take advantage of double exps if we can't progress in the game? What bothers me the most is that this is a HUGE bug and should be their #1 priority. Yet, it is treated as a minor issue. 4.0 has been out for months now and the bug is still there on several of my lower level toons. My message to Bioware: If you actually give a crap about retaining paying customers then FIX THIS BUG ASAP.
  11. I agree with this. For once, I, as a veteran player, finally got rewarded with all my hard work in the game and my companions are powerful. But, please Bioware, don't nerf. I know new players that are struggling and think the game is too hard, by comparison. I urged them to continue on as they will get more powerful as they play. Anyone saying the game is too easy should try to create a new account and play from scratch. See what they say, then... lol
  12. Let them know? Honestly the list is too extensive. For example, almost all of the level 60 gear from the last expansion was removed. The Revanite set is just one such example. Most of what was removed is not available elsewhere.
  13. The title says it all, Bioware. Can we please get a response on this? A ton of gear has been removed from the game and I am unable to complete several character concepts, as a result. Just go to TORfashion and see the list of "No Longer Available" gear. That list is bigger than the available gear list. Not good... Please Bioware, give us a response to this. It's a huge issue for a game that touts itself on character customization and creation.
  14. Thanks for all of the great replies, all! And, thanks for seeing my post for what it was. I actually remembered a couple more things for comparison after I posted this, but decided not to post them. I didn't want to turn it into a QQ rant, as that was not my intent. Oh, and I do have a ton of toons in both games, as I have been playing both WoW and SWTOR since both of their respective betas. And, it did cost me more than I care to say to transfer most of my WoW toons off of the dead server. Not too bitter about that really, as that was my personal choice. We'll have to see what WoD brings, but for now, I am having fun gearing my alts in SWTOR and working to match my companion sets. Thanks all!
  15. This is absolutely incorrect. WoW still has tons of long-standing clipping problems that remain unfixed since BC. For example, wear the voidheart raiment for BE's and see for yourself that their ears still clip through the helm. Blizzard is not a beacon of work ethic as you claim they are.
