So, I love playing a Shadow. It's good in PvP and uber in PvE.. as long as I use Tharan. As a DPS shadow I've tried using the other companions, and, I can handle 95% of things with any of them. I can handle almost everything until I'm forced to fight an elite. Most of the time I can swing these as well with any of the other 4 by using all my cooldowns and a medpac. Sometimes that's not enough though so I bring the metrosexual techy along and down they go while I'm standing there trying to find any sign that I've been damaged at all. I did have one fight on Belsavis that was sort of difficult because Tharan didn't realize that it might be a good idea to run away from the mobs PBAoE until I told him that Holiday was watching his stupid *** die. I did this by using Ctrl+2 So, I'd like to use the other companions. I use Nadia and Zenith when I want to get through some content fast. I use Qyzen or Iresso for... wait... oh right, I use them to do their relationship quests. I knew there was something. And I use Tharan for pretty much everything else. Oh, and no other companion can mez a turret with a hologram!

Yeah, I've heard that as well. A friend of mine who was in the beta for longer than me mentioned that. Maybe they're getting ready to make them useful in some way - I hope. It'd be nice if pulling mods out of old items didn't take me to the cleaners.

Well, if the OP was mounted when they started the convo but escaped out of it repeatedly to attempt different options then the mount issue wouldn't be an issue. I have no idea about Mako though...

What are these for besides telling you what items can be modified? I noticed in the patch notes that they're adding them to the supplies area of each fleet and thought to myself, okay, who cares? I've read people say that it reduces the cost and I've tried to see this for myself and it's never reduced the cost for me. These just don't seem to serve any real purpose, unless I'm just totally missing it.. ?

Anyone know why shadow tanks were left out? There are 5 different types of generators available to make in Artifice - DPS offhands with Str/End, Aim/End, and Will/End, and tanking ones for Str/End and Aim/End but there is no shield gen for Will/End. Was this accidentally left out or does BW just hate Shadow tanks? ...and perhaps Assassin tanks too?
