Killing stuff just to earn legacy points is grinding ... taking on dailiy after daily to earn legacy exp is grinding ... need I go on? Anything besides the main storyline could also be considered grinding by your definition. Like I stated before you are missing my point. Legacy is a seperate entity altogether in the game ... it is apart from anything really included in progressing through normal gamepley ( speeders/abilities/items) You can almost consider Legacy to be somewhat like AA's .... I have yet to see an MMO that has your grind out bonus levels to pay for the reward ... hmmm in EQ 600 aa's + and not one paid for ... EQ2 250 aa's .. not one paid for ... that is what I mean. I know this is not WoW .. nor EQ, nor warhammer ... but SWTOR. My pint being that the grind for the legacy level then paying a mortgage for one single ability is absurd. If it were 10k + legacy lvl then sure ... why not ... And finally ... Yes I gave away the coin in fleet ... dont believe me? make a toon on Syth Wurm, jump in fleet and ask. I got alot of compliments from peeps stating there needs to be more peeps like me in game etc ... except im not .. no reason for me to log on. Im not pissed about not being able to afford the abilities now because I had no desire to pay for them in the first place. Hell if you were on sith wurm and wanted coin I could have just tossed the whole 6 mil your way ... guarantee you wouldnt sink it all on a few legacy abilities.

I had 6 mil but gave it away 100k at a time in fleet on my dead server. I was serious about quitting so made it official. Trying to explain how getting toons 50+ and grinding out legacy levels is going nowhere so im not gonna bother. Unlocking an ability at legacy lvl say 15 should be just that ... unlocking it to use ... not unlocking so you can sell your left nut to afford it.

Read what you just posted. Good for you, you got lvl 47! If you buy things that require lvl 47 aside from abilites you are doing it wrong. You grind out legacy levels by gaining exp from anything you kill .... that is how you grind. May want to brush up on your MMO knowledge. Here, ill help you out on this one ... to grind out legacy requires several characters and as I have 6 going 2 of which are 50 and in rakata I have earned the legacy rewards. Alot of others here who are not happy with 1.2 probably have 2+ 50's as well .... so gratz to you ... you have a 47 but until you have gotten a whackload of toons to 40+ dont come on here preaching about us wanting everything for free.

The question shouldnt be "how" will it be remembered, but "if" it will be remembered.

I would link the web video that was posted as a preview to 1.2 but you might come up with some smart *** remark. In the video the narrator actually states that it was either/or

Not asking for it for free .... but being legacy level 22 I think Ive earned the ability. Grinding out levels with say a 10k price tag on abilities instead of 500k makes a ton more sense. If you dont want to grind out the legacy levels then charge the 500k alone ... right now I agree with a previous post ... 1.2 is a joke.

It was supposed to be either or .. not both as it is. Where the both came into play I dont know but I cnx'd my sub. 1.2 isnt as impressive as most make it out to be.

Glad I unsubbed. I even gave away 6 mil credits on syth wurm last night to people. As a legacy lvl 22 I have done enough grinding to not pay extra for these items. Have fun peeps.

Target of your target assisting tool has been in EQ and EQ2 forever ... probably the most useful tool ever implemented in a game.
