  1. Sometimes, though, there are the new folks who won't read anything and you end up with the same question being asked a thousand times in chat. Even to the point of people "interrupting" someone answering the same question someone else asked. So it's not always fully the answerer's fault if they get short with folks for asking the same question over and over. (not saying it was in your case Ginkumo, just sayin') It sounds to me as if the OP did some homework and tried to learn by doing. Some people are just mean, mean people suck.
  2. Hmm, doesn't sound familiar, warns you how?
  3. That wasn't the issue, the issue is the surprise 35k credits you need while you are doing missions that give rewards in the hundred of credits range. My original reply to you was about your statement that implied that in buying the edition that came with the speeder you automatically can use it at 25.
  4. I'm sorry, what part of my post was I asking for anything on a silver platter?
  5. If one knows in advance not to spend ones money on anything it's probably fine, but that's kind of my complaint. Why do devs think that annoying their customers or boring them with pointless long slow trips is the right way to encourage them to stay.
  6. But that's just it, you CAN'T use it unless you have a spare 35k credits laying around.
  7. A good theory, but in practice, turns out that everything is pretty expensive. Merely dabbling in a crafting profession is enough to drain one's coffers at this level.
  8. I find it annoying they neglect to mention you must be independently wealthy to afford to learn the skill. Or rather, I find it annoying that game designers think they are making their games more fun by forcing us to plod along at this tediously slow "sprint" then dangle a speed increase ability that you have to wait until you've leveled through half the levels in the game to get, PLUS price it absurdly high.
  9. They need to have the ability to post persistent buy and sell orders, auction would be nice, but a running log of orders and transactions would go a long way toward having an economy. Even in a society as backwards as our 21st century one, we have the ability to look up previous/going prices for items and to place orders for goods not yet produced, at a certain price. Someone want ideas for improving this game? (I am loving it so far) Look toward the economy. Make it easy for the casual crafter to buy/sell at good prices, as well as consumers not get "ripped off" because they only could find a price 100x the "going rate" in the GTN that day.
