  1. Is this ever getting fixed? Just checked and O-beam is still listed as a Force attack.
  2. 1. Bounty Hunter - Throwing fire, blaster bolts, missiles = win 2. Sith Warrior - Force Choke, Force Leap 3. Smuggler - Dirty Kick, slapping mouths with blaster barrels, humor and charm Honorable mention: Trooper - High Impact Bolt - big fat, wet Star Wars blaster sound; Clone Trooper armor Least satisfying: Consular dirtstorms
  3. I'd like to pile on. I loved Pyro Pvp before 2.0 Now it's just so weak. Tracer + Critical Heatseaker is quite nice. Maybe Pyro would be a little more okay if they didn't gut CGC. But Arsenal just has so much more burst and survival tools. It's a great time if you like Arsenal.
  4. You can't really get the full effect of Rage spec until 45. When you get 45, follow this guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN-9jIYNgJQ
  5. I couldn't agree more with this assessment. And until recently, merc heal shots would drive me up the wall. THWCK THWCK THWCK THWCK AHHHHHH! I find commando healing to be far more pleasing to the senses.
  6. Dubious. Below is the thread about CGC snare not behaving as expected. Anyway, why not just proc CGC with Rapid Shots for free? The proc rate is higher now but the damage is much lower. The snare isn't being reliably applied. Pyro 2.0 is truly disappointing. I've gone Arsenal for now. Check out this thread about Pyro snare http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=622439
  7. The new one is much better because it won't drive me insane.
  8. So, the Battlemaster headgear looks awesome and will display even under a hood. My jugg is only 48 and I don't have any Pvp armor yet. Am I about to miss out when the patch 1.6 goes live on Tuesday and it is removed? Should I just go buy it with my current warzone comms and put it in storage? Also, I don't know how any set bonuses work, but if I do go ahead and buy a single piece of Battlemaster, should I buy a 2nd piece to at least get a 2 piece set bonus for having it? Thanks for advice
  9. I just tried this quest today with one group member. Neither of us could loot/activate the datapad. We reset the quest and also tried logging out but nothing helped. Ran into another player also there and she, too, was unable to continue the quest.
  10. Pretty much. If you are not in Soresu, it's only a 5% chance a shield gen will deflect, which makes it almost completely useless. The easy way to think about it is: Soresu: equip shield generator Shi-cho or Shien: use a power generator ( 0% shield)
  11. Do you use a shield generator?
  12. Can you point us to your Focus build?
  13. My conclusion is that yes, at least start out in Soresu form to level. Equipping a focus vs a shield results in 3 points damage difference on most of my relatively few attacks. I think it's a damage boost to have Riposte always available upon cool down as opposed to having a stronger Force-based Blade storm. Especially since you can spam riposte key along with another attack at the same time. So my Slash will be listed for 247 damage instead of 250 if I use a shield. The reason is that most attacks at low level are melee type and not force based type. Because of this, your offhand boost from focus does so very little. I'm still low level so I don't know when this will change up. I think I have a few points more strength on my focus compared to shield generator. So I assume this is the only reason I see any damage difference on the tooltip at all on melee attacks.
