  1. Just let us buy a "Speech Inhibitor Module" to put in a customization slot for him! Even charge us 100k for it. It would be a huge money sink as EVERYONE I know would buy one. Most worthwhile investment in the game imo.
  2. I like it too! Oh and this must be a record on these forums. OP has been up for over 3 hours and hasn't been trolled yet.
  3. As a tank you are my best friend When playing a tank in PVP if you guard a healer and follow her around you will be almost invincible. Healers notice when you keep people off of them and keep them guarded! Also, while not directly related to being healed, while in pvp abuse taunt and your AOE taunt if you have them, even if you're dps. There is 0 downside to taunting in pvp and this can save your healer tons of time and resources.
  4. I use mouse buttons 4 and 5 for targeting next/previous enemy and shift 4/5 for friendlies and it has seemed to be a big improvement over tab for me. You could always bind target nearest enemy to something accessible which should help with pvp especially.
  5. So then Friend A lobbies to outlaw stopwatches so nobody will know he's not as fast as Friend B and people will still run with him? There's nothing wrong with not being good at something. But if you're not very good and have no interest in getting better you don't belong with people that want to be competitive. Get your gear at your own pace, after content is inevitably nerfed you'll be able to come in and play it. Simple solution: Only allow meters in Hard/Nightmare modes. People that are competitive get to see where they need to improve and people that just want to play casually don't have to get their low dps rubbed in their faces on content where dps doesn't matter anyway.
  6. Same, if not more. I'm running the game on a GeForce 9800GT which is barely above the minimum required. Prepatch I was running everything on medium or low settings, trees/grass to 0% and shadows off. After the patch I have been able to turn everything to high (including AA) except shadows and still get 20+ FPS in the fleet! Everywhere else I have 0 performance issues almost always getting 40+ FPS. My GPU is getting pushed to the max and runs at 88C or so in graphically intense areas but the gameplay is much smoother. Whatever you guys did helped SIGNIFICANTLY, Thanks!
  7. Denying a DPS meter is like having a race with your friends one after the other without timing it. Friend A runs his 100m and yells out "Woah that was fast!" Friend B runs his 100m and says "I bet that was faster than you!" Does it make them elitist if instead of just guessing who was fastest they were to bring a stopwatch and time each other? Obviously this arguement is rediculous, and if one of the friends were significantly slower than the other that doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to run anymore. But if you were getting together a group of friends to compete against another group of people that you know to be very fast of course you're going to leave out the slowest people. And if you are the slowest you shouldn't be offended that you don't get brought to the race, it should motivate you to get faster! All DPS meters are is a "stopwatch" to let the team compare performance objectively. Anyone that denys this is basically saying the olympics would be better without the races being timed.
  8. Who I'm raiding with doesn't matter. If we're not finishing a fight before an enrage timer I want to see where we can improve. A wipe is VERY rarely one person's fault, especially when it is due to hitting an enrage timer. If we as a raid need 800 more dps it doesn't matter if the dps improvement is spread between 8 players each doing 100dps more or if it is 1 player using a stim+adrenal and cleaning up their rotation to gain 800dps. The net result is the same, a win. Personally I want to know if I'm not performing as well as I should so I can find ways to improve. In a progression raid it is every single player's responsibility to do everything they can to eek out every bit of performance they can. Without meters performance is binary win/loss and completely disregards any incremental improvements players make.
  9. How does a dps meter have anything to do with GS/Achiev? In a difficult fight if you can't perform you shouldn't be there. The only way to see this objectively is with meters. Not to mention many of us like to optimize our rotations without having to guess which abilities actually work the way the tooltip says? Just enable it only for Hard/Nightmare encounters where it would be needed and while you are solo fighting the training dummy that should be installed in our ships!
  10. It would be nice if they just made it so the strafe keys worked the same as the turn keys in space. In the meantime you could always bind some other keys you're not using on a different part of your keyboard to forward #2, backwards #2, turn left #1, and turn right #1. Use your arrow keys or L < > ? or something. Your don't need the rest of your keybinds while you're in space so it's not really a huge problem.
  11. That still qualifies as broken in my mind. Once a node has been activated it should start the reset timer whether or not the items were actually looted. Worst case scenario this would leave a node broken for a few minutes.
  12. I like the title too! Though the wording in the announcement is pretty misleading saying that we get a Medal and a Title when all the medal does is grant the title when we use in the first time?
  13. He said the exact opposite of what you're implying. It probably ISN'T the bracketing that is the issue so he wants the bracketing patched in while the devs fix whatever the problem is.
  14. When you're using CC make sure to turn off Khem's two AOE attacks. He always turns them back on after resummoning him after he dies or you jump off your speeder. I can't tell you how many times I make a fight harder than necessary because I forgot to turn those AOE attacks off. Khem hates me enough as it is, if he heard the nasty names I've called him after he breaks my CC he'd probably turn on me! Besides WW don't forget your in combat survival tools like Electrocute and Overload to give you a bit of breathing room. If you and Khem both start out shielded you should be able to nuke down one or two standard mobs before his shield even breaks and by then you're in the clear.
  15. They don't have to be eliminated entirely but change the color of the triangle so we know it's a low level quest and don't waste our time checking to see what it is. It would also be nice to have a toggle on the minimap to allow us to show or not show gray quality missions.
