  1. Considering that ONE boss and the content that comes with it shouldn't take more than a few days at most, yeah they're put upon. I get the feeling that they aren't being allowed to work on content.
  2. It sucks for you guys who like group content. I feel bad for you. Although I do feel that at least it's awesome that Swtor allows subs to have access to all of the expansions for free instead of having to shell out 50 bucks for each one *coughwowcough*
  3. There was an apprentice bater in one of the comics who did eventually make it to the rank of Master before the editors noticed and summarily killed him off.
  4. This was my first and it's still the only one I come back to reliably. The rest of the MMOs I've tried lack the one element most important to me in video games: Story.
  5. I just go by the specific racial naming standards and I can usually find something. If not I use alt codes.
  6. I'm the opposite. I can only play my imperials as LS and even then it's dissatisfying. The Knight story is totally trope filled and very star wars. I love the lore in the consular story though. Smuggler has awesome dialogue and trooper is femshep so even though it's meh I like it.
  7. Because they go together and KOTFE comes BEFORE. Kotet is the sequel to it. You cannae play them out of order.
  8. That's probably because the hardcore gamers that are super competitive are interested in competition and not story. Esports is a thing now and there's no money or fame to be made from being really good at an MMO.
  9. I'm indifferent. It wouldn't really change my experience.
  10. I craft to gear up other players. New guildies, new players, or anyone that is still using greens. And I craft artifice to make pretty things that sell well.
  11. I wouldn't know, I don't do PVP. I always assume you need the best gear for PVP since those people seem to be whining about that all the time so I've never bothered to try.
  12. If you're not doing PVP or HM stuff 228 is more than sufficient. If you're getting pulverized in 228 gear doing story, fps, regular ops, heroics, or whatever then it's not the gear slowing you down.
  13. This is very true and you said it far better than I could. Even games that tout choices as the most important thing and have little choices that affect something in the future have this issue. Take Life Is Strange for example. This game says that even something as insignificant as watering your plant or not is an important choice. Later in the game some of these choices have small impact but at the end of the game you're still left with one of two choices. In the end nothing you do is worth anything at all because none of it affects the overall outcome. It's still a good game just as other bioware games are still great but to give players a truly choice driven experience would take a decade of development and would have to sacrifice something huge. Sacrifice full voice acting? Graphics quality? Game time? Worldbuilding? What would you leave out? Different people have diffferent responses of course and so do the companies. In many cases they choose to go the less risky route by choosing to save the more "AAA worthy" feature. Full voice acting increases immersion and any new game these days without it will definitely face some bad reviews and seem last gen. The graphics quality of SWTOR isn't that great but for the time it was developed it was pretty good for an MMO and at least it still looks somewhat this-gen instead of looking like WoW which still looks like it belongs in 2004. Cutting game time down means cutting the price point down as well unless you want some seriously angry gamers which means you might not even make back all that money you spent on writers and developers to make that meaningful choice driven game. Same with worldbuilding. I'm not saying I wouldn't love some more meaningful decisions because I would. I'm just saying that it may not be feasible from a business perspective.
  14. The revan set, revanite set, and reaver sets. And animal mounts...all of them.
