  1. i kill jugs and PT all the time in my light armor... i just see a big load of crying from some noob assassin who doesn't know how to play. im top dps almost every warzone(my top game was over 450k damage) usually with most killing blows, and i carry the ball and plant bombs and capture stuff. assassin is an amazing class, it just takes skill and practice to play, the only thing it needs is another defense CD in its deception tree.
  2. he has deathfield and dark ward, probably hybrid tank/madness. nobody is impressed by your damage we have all had a couple good games. the fact that you have 0 protection makes you a scrub as well. lookie i can do 410k damage too!   4. they are a useful, knowledgeable group i use tank everything and i don't really have threat problems. just remember use shock when energize is proced, if you are speced right it will pull extra threat, always use wither, and your 3 stacks of harness darkness also will help with threat. at the beginning of a fight, i usually use both my taunts one after the other if i dont need to save them just to hold on till i have a solid hold on my target
  5. if an assassin drops recklessness before(which they always will if its up) it increases the range to 30 meters. and if they hit you with lightning while you are in range and you try to walk away, it feels like the range kind of stretches while it is channeling, and it is slowing you down. it isn't interrupt-able, but you can stun people while they are using it, which any good player will .
  6. well i do slip in saber strikes in longer fights. but when you are after a healer, sometimes you cant sacrifice the one GCD to slip in a saber strike, because that one hit can be the difference between finishing him off, or him getting his shield off and kiting away. (i play tank spec btw) being tank spec, im usually in fights that are draged out for quite a while, and i end up spending half the time using saber strike. all while sorcerers have such a huge amount of force that they can spam skills the entire fight
  7. ive played an assassin since the first day the game was out in prerelease, and i love it to death but i really hate the fact that sorcerers "fuel tank" of force allows them to constantly spam skills for so long, while im siting there spaming auto attack waiting for it to regenerate. the assassin force tank of 100(110 in deception) allows for us to use 3-4 skills (about6-7 seconds of fighting) and then we have to wait for more. I understand that sorcerers need a larger fuel tank because they are a force based class, but assassin skills cost just as much force, with less channeling skills which give sorcerers time to regenerate. I am always out of force, and constantly forced to just spam auto attack for 2-3 gcd to just use one skill. the two changes that could be made would be to either increase our tank to something like 150 force to give us a little more to start with, or to increase our regeneration enough that if we time our attacks right, we could keep up a constant rotation. /end QQ
  8. ive tanked 8 man nightmares. my guild brings me as an assassin, an an equally geared juggernaut tank. from what ive heard from healers "juggernaut take a little more stable damage, while sometimes assassins take very little, and sometimes they take a few bigger hits" assassin tanking revolves around your dark ward and shield chance, in full rikata my shield chance after dark ward is about 50%. If 2-3 attacks in a row dont get shielded, im going to be taking some pretty hefty damage, but if 2-3 shield in a row, i will be sittin pretty on a nice full healthbar.
  9. i dont go to 3 stacks for the damage, i do it for the 12% heal+the damage
  10. i bought a 41 endurance white crystal for my tank set, cus im rich and i do what i want.
  11. i have the endurance one, so i have a white PvE crystal, and a red-black pvp crystal in my battlemaster saber
  12. this is fail. if you want to nerf force speed, you would have to nerf warrior jumps, juggernaut intercede, sorc pull, and any form of movement ability. a jugg can walk into the pit, jump up to some noob standing there, and win. how is that fair, but sprint not fair?
