  1. ^ This is so true. D3 had one of the worst launches I've ever experienced. The servers were down so much, it was frustrating. I'm not one of those "OMG ISSUE, EFF IT" player. I'm still playing D3, and since Early Access with TOR, I have been playing regularly, as is my boyfriend. We play on a RP server, which is usually Light - Standard. We enjoy the lack of ques. I remember sitting there the first days having an que time of a few hours. But I didn't quit then. I remember when my old laptop had serious issues with the game (even though it met minimum requirements), and I had to figure out how to make it playable. I didn't quit just because my computer had trouble. So I won't quit over petty things. I'll "quit" when I cannot pay to play any longer, or the game officially closes. I don't know about you guys, but I truly enjoy being a Jedi or Sith, or even a character like Han (even though I hated him in the movies).
  2. On Swtor, I hear people rant about how WoW is dying. On WoW, the reverse is said, and other whining about future games, like Guild Wars 2. I play both WoW and TOR, both games are awesome in their own ways. For WoW, it's the ideal fantasy-based MMO, major content and awesome story. With TOR, the graphics are superior, voice over quests, and the story line with companions make it awesome. But what do you do in the situation, comment and then get yelled at by the hardcore gamers? I don't even speak about Swtor to my bestfriend. He's such a wowhead it isn't funny. He ranted about how the Crew Skills were limited by the level you were. And no they aren't, I was 24 and my Underworld is level 30+. But I dare not mention it. So blah. What would you guys do? I just fall silent and hold my tongue. >_<
  3. I truly believe BioWare delivered what was expected and far beyond. I love how you interact with the quest line, unlike WoW, where I was like "1k exp? -accept-" I never knew what I was questing for, unless it was the Silverpine Quest line levels 10-20, when Lady Sylvanas was voiced over (along with some orc dudes).
  4. Lolol I love your DS resume I enjoyed the Sith Inquistor story line where you could shock the prisoner for information.
  5. A sith being pure light, or a jedi pure dark? I know I am. I've sent Flesh Raiders flying, allowed padawans to love (got a color crystal too >), made children dehydrate and killed a young matriarch. :3
  6. I wouldn't take that to heart. Economy is based on the first item sold. From there it either goes higher or lower, as well as people requesting to buy something for an x value. If it's already crappy then people either are selling too high or way too low. Buuut I also struggled in my Economics class. That's just what I've observed from my six-ish years of MMO'ing.
  7. It's up to the user. Personally, I jump from char to char. You may be the same way. But if you want to succeed in such a huge MMO, I suggest focusing on one character, at least until a decent level.
