I almost, but chickened out did the jump of death out the window. Stood on the ledge of the window and looked down, it's a long long drop.

Probably just the battery finally dieing.

Kind of like it does for EVE, and the new ish Blizzard launcher. That way if / when the game crashes to desktop, or has to be shut down you just hit play & you are in the game.
