Sith Acolytes (SH decoration)
Volund_Starfire replied to SlthBounteHuntah's topic in Cartel Market Suggestions
I'd love to get some armored Jedi and Sith (like the Valiant Jedi and Eradicator). -
My SW already had his Malgus on, I'd love to get this for Vette! Definitely want to see it!

The drama of decorating your stronghold
Volund_Starfire replied to DirtyDiggler's topic in Galactic Strongholds
My Yavin SH is neutral and Alliance-themed. My Coruscant SH is Rep (geared toward my two Jedi and Trooper) and my DK is Imp (geared to my Sith and Agent). My Nar Shaddaa is going to be for both my BH and Snuggler. I have a Tattooine SH, but it is strictly for storage and is maxed at 100% with my various unused decorations. I keep it at 100% so I don't have to make my other ones look overloaded just to get the bonus. Though, I also change up my decorations on my Yavin to fit the time of year. Right now (Life Day), it's very festive with at least one tree in each room and the main room looks like a Christmas party for all to enjoy. Halloween is more a time for Rakghouls and Dreads. All that sort of thing. -
Strongholds for Tython and Korriban
Volund_Starfire replied to Supoiter's topic in Galactic Strongholds
Tython and Korriban would be amazing. Right now the only specific location I really like is DK because of the rain, but even that gets tired. Yavin is nice, but I'd love the ancient look of Korriban or the pristine look of Tython. -
No custom weapon when finished Hutta as Powertech
Volund_Starfire replied to Crebris's topic in New Player Help
I had the same thing happen to me. I think it's a known bug. You should definitely file a /bug report on it. I did and the Dev reading it granted me the pistol in my mail. -
I've been subbed since it first went live, and even beta-tested the game. Besides the 500 Cartel Coins every month, I don't have to worry about some of the lock-outs that hit preferred players. It's also less money than going to the movies for a game that has given me 5 years of entertainment and will continue to entertain me for (hoping) another five.

It was a very difficult choice for me. Both Jorgan and Dorne have qualifications necessary for the position. When you compare the two of them to the Trooper character, they both have far more qualifications for command that he/she does. Jorgan was an officer who was demoted as a sacrificial nerf. Beyond that, he has years of command experience in Republic Special Operations. He already has the sense necessary for command, regardless of how he treats the fresh meat on the team. As a trained sniper (now), he is used to being in an overwatch position and can make informed decisions for the squad away from the fog of war. It looked as if he was previously in an administrative and planning position while he was still an officer, which would be a bonus as the commander is always out on missions (someone needs to do the paperwork). Dorne knows the Republic “book” as well as the Imperial “book” from memory. She passed all of the psychological and telepathic (Jedi) tests to prove her loyalty. She was a highly decorated Imperial soldier and began earning an equal number of Republic decorations. She knows the rules and regulations of both sides and can use them for the advantage of the team. As the team medic, she has the ear of the team as well as the trust (everyone trusts the medic and talks to them openly). Beyond that, she knows all the right paperwork to file for every occasion. Jorgan is a hot-head, and sees only his personal feelings above the mission, as well as feeling the job should be his without question. Dorne is too stiff to go beyond the regulations (as the point you choose which to promote), and does not have the trust of other commands due to her Imperial heritage. When I sat on NCO boards, I was faced with this exact choice. Do you go for the more experienced soldier who is a hot-head or the by-the-book soldier that peers find difficult to trust. I got bored and went through all of the various youtube videos of the conversations you can have with both up until the promotion, to include character conversations. I listed out all of their various points, both positive and negative. At the end, I tallied up the scores and used Garza’s recommendation as a command bonus to Jorgan. Finally, I used their opinion as the personal statement to the board. Positive marks added one point, negative marks removed two points (negatives are always scrutinized more than positives), and Garza’s recommendation counted as five points. In the end, I decided to promote Jorgan. He had ten more points in total than Dorne, but also had five more negative points. I know it is way more thought than most put into this, but I’ve enjoyed the Trooper character since long before the beta even began.

We cant take screenshot during Cinematics ?
Volund_Starfire replied to Enako's topic in General Discussion
In the head-start, it was working differently. It did actually take screenshots of the cut-scenes. It was not until about two weeks ago or so that it began kriffing up. -
Veteran MMORPG player just chilling and living life
Volund_Starfire replied to DoubleSwords's topic in General Discussion
I'm actually sitting here giggling while reading people having psychotic breaks because they didn't get instant gratification. Reading all those posts that the McGeneration is making while foaming at the mouth because they pre-ordered this morning and can't play is making my heart warm... it's like watching world's stupidest people and laughing because you know you would never do that kind of thing. Personally, I have downloaded all the extra music on the facebook page (they released the rest of it, by the way). And yes, I actually spelled out "downloaded" and "by the way." It's because I'm not a lazy frak and actually take pride in the 22 years of education I have (two more years until I am Doctor Volund Starfire ). Yes, I am waiting for the game. Yes, I will admit to being a little twitchy while waiting, because it is such a good game. However, I am not going to threaten to quit, threaten to cancel my pre-order, threaten to blow up a dev's dog, or any of that other stuff. Want to know why? I am mature. The Army taught me that patience is a virtue. Actually, they taught me to hurry up and wait, but that's the same thing, right? I know that I will be able to play the game. I know that the devs are doing what they can. So, why should I make an empty threat like the McGeneration because I feel entitled? I am no more entitled to play this game than McJohn who is still living in his parent's basement and wants some Twi'lek lovin' right now! I worked hard to earn the money I used to buy the pre-order and worked hard beta testing to make the game better. The devs are working hard to provide me the opportunity (sorry for any McGeneration reading such a large word) to play their game. Even then, it's up to them whether I play or not. In the end, I'll just sit here at my computer, checking the launcher every fifteen minutes or so, and laugh at all the McMonkeys flinging poo around the boards believing it will get them into beta faster. Wouldn't it be funny, if the devs actually put them back to a later queue every time they posted a McThread? That would make me laugh. -
What will happen after the 5th wave?
Volund_Starfire replied to psysention's topic in General Discussion
What will happen after the 5th wave? Think of the Book of Revelations, as reenacted by the cast of Spongebob Squarepants!!! Either that or they will begin offering waves later because the servers are doing so well or they will offer invites tomorrow. -
november/december preorders playing right now?
Volund_Starfire replied to Eyeskream's topic in General Discussion
Let me ask you this... If you were in-game, would you be posting across multiple threads that you were in or would you be playing? Those threads are from trolls. -
You know, what if you go one day without playing a year from now? Does that mean Bioware should give you a free level because someone else has been playing for that one day that you didn't? Come on people! It is a game! G-A-M-E. You play it for fun! If you are having this much stress over a game, you need to speak to someone before you decide to take a shotgun and permanently empty a Taco Bell!
