They are not limited by the engine. Think of the hero engine as a base, but those parts can be completely swapped out. Bioware can re write code, add code and modify code. All they wanted was a frame work to start on. Don't listen to all the idiots crying saying because of the engine this game can't do X & Y. They can do whatever they want with the engine...its evolving. 5 years from now, you will see this.

They've hinted that they are working on a big space project in several interviews. I suspect its going to be something in an expansion.

Dude, every MMO forum is like this. Heck a lot of game forums are like this. Check out WoW's or Rifts. Diablo III is supposedly the worst game ever if you go read the forums and its not even out, haha

I believe that you don't like the game, it happens man. But your opinion does not equal everyone else. I tried like hell to like skyrim, but I just could not get into it after hours and hours. Everybody and their mother seems to love that game but it just doesn't float my boat. The fantasy world just seems too generic to me and the combat is archaic IMO. However this is only my opinion, it does not make it fact. I didn't go to their forums to try to ruin the experience for others. It actually does too. Had I seen these forums before I bought the game I would not have touched SWTOR. Luckily for me I didn't and I love the game. The less players coming into the game means less fun for the community. It's one thing to give your opinion on mechanics and such, but these conspiracy theorists and BS spewers are getting old.

the good news guys is out of all the recent interviews I have listened to , pop imbalance has been brought up in the majority of them. They wont say what just yet but they claim they are working on ideas to try to fix the imbalance. One of the devs even brought up valor perks for the lesser faction. I think that could work. He would not confirm that though as the fix they're looking at, just an idea that was discussed. I believe it was the total biscuit interview.

they are not almost all low to medium during peek time... Hell its 1 am central and the majortity are still standard... During peak a lot of servers are heavy, some full and even have quetimes and just a hand full are low. Every mmo will have a few weak servers. This was taken last week at 10:16pm cst. At the the time there were 4 light. If you add up how servers there are and subtract the rest, you can figure out how many standard there were. http://imgur.com/41QC7

I really do believe it will happen. I'm guessing another 2 am cst fix tonight but it would suck for the European players if it was later than that since it will cut into their peak hours. If it was a hotfix though it might only require a 2 hour downtime. I just don't want to see a mass influx of whiners because bioware did what the customers asked. Bioware is trying to make the game better. They made a mistake it looks like and I think the biggest problem is they don't have a copy function for the test server. Not much at all was made of this in the test server so its hard to say THEY WEREN'T LISTENING when nothing was said.

I can say a lot of things and claim them to be fact and it doesn't make it true. Go back and look at the thousands of posts complaining about the cooldown system. I'm not thanking anybody, but they are their job well. edit: Also, I'm not outraged because I'm a level headed person that has a good grasp on reality. You obviously don't know how massive this game is and how much they have done already with the fixes they have issued.

Think what? How do you know they are not fixing it? Do you know how many lines of code are in this game? It could still be weeks before they get to the fix that YOU want. They prioritize the bugs and then go from there. They have obviously fixed a lot of bugs since launch. Be patient and eventually the bug that you think is OMG SO IMPORTANT, will be fixed.

Prediction: BW will put out a hotfix and a lot of Euros will cry and threaten unsubscription because it will be in a timely manner which would result in being put out during their peak time. Lose Lose, like always with these forums.
