  1. balance as it pertains to the prophecy of the force is when both fonts of power, dark and light, are humbled and given a new beginning. Destroying the jedi was necessary. Destroying the two head Sith Lords, also necessary. These two massive organizations of power had to be brought down if there was to be balance in the force, and this was done: In the end, there was the dark, the light, and only few champions (relatively speaking) for either side. That is balance. Remember, the prophecy is to bring balance to the force, not destroy the Sith. There's a huge difference between the two, and that is demonstrated even in TCW with the episodes of Mortis. It doesn't matter what Lucas says, really. Any balance in any context of ANY movie or any real life scenario is a juggle of good and bad, luxury and necessity, pride and humility, etcetera. Balance is, indeed, a juggle between the dark and the light, not absolute prevalence of the light.
  2. I reject this notion and refuse to accept this as canon.
  3. I don't understand why you guys are taking the full 3% crit. 1 or 2 points but not both. that small chance to crit is not as reliable as a guaranteed 8% extra self-healing or even 1% damage reduction, which make the fights and healing much more manageable and predictable.
  4. I used to care about seeing this game improve. Then I quit in November when they decided to put Life Day in the CM. And then I came back in late february. Not a single care was given. I have no expectations for this game, I just hope it shuts down sooner than later.
  5. I truly, earnestly wish for this game to be disintegrated and for all of us to simply remember it as a bad dream within 5 years time.
  6. whatever lets you live with your hypocrisy. but it's fine, hypocrisy is a significant contributor to what makes us human, and is also not a terrible thing. I empathize with you, truly.
  7. Actually, let me entertain that idea: murder and torture is good. murder and torture wins wars. One of the Williams of Prussia killed his son's friend (suspected of being his gay partner) in order to reign him in. That William went on to be one of the greatest leaders of Prussia. Why? Because he wanted to prove himself to be better than his Father. Now, looking at this from a Utilitarian perspective: Violence gets results. It is an effective, natural and necessary force in the world, whereas those relations... really only serve to curb the total world's population. It's a sort of birth control. I'm not saying it's a birth defect or unnatural. In fact, the only reason people really had a problem with homosexuality is because it discouraged increasing the world's population. And alot of people still do not like it for (primarily) religious reasons. Let me stress tolerance: respect the oppositions views. You don't have to like them. Respect the significant portion of the population that really does not want to see it because we don't want to see it. Because it's gross. There's really nothing deeper to it. It's gross, and our characters having the option to be gross is gross to us because it causes the Avatar to fail to represent who we are.
  8. lol man gays need to make up their mind. are they unique individuals who like to have childless relations or are they slaves to their predetermined design? choose one and stick with it.
  9. well that's the beauty of a toggle option: if you don't think it's too suggestive, you can enable it.
  10. and so including a toggle would in fact make more parents willing to purchase the game for their kids if they can censor out the undesired parts, thus aiding this game's diminished population. It's sort of like the House of the Dead games- some arcades the zombies have red blood and brutal mutilation. Others, no blood or silly colored blood with no mutilation.
  11. again, I support a toggle to turn off all romance options. Some of the dialogue is just a bit too suggestive for children, as are the fade2black scenes.
  12. I'm not here to debate what "it" is. actually I support the option to turn off both types of romances or just one type, giving each player more opportunity to play the game they want to play it.
