  1. That's fine. You need to update the launcher as well. In order to update, you might need to log in with your account. Once updated, the clients will be identical.
  2. Because a once successful game charged you 100 gold to mount up at level 40 ( instead of 25 ) which was a huge chore to obtain and you had no idea it was even possible if you were a newbie because nothing indicated that at level 40 you could go to a separate trainer to obtain training and then further to another merchant to buy that mount. That game went on to subscribe something like 200 million players. The point I'm trying to make here is that you are drawing a line arbitrarily. What makes you think 35k credits are too much? My first character in the game had approximately 65k credits without slicing at 25, which I think is reasonable. A fresh newbie might not know to sell all grey items and useless trash items to make sure they have enough money, but it wouldn't take them that long to recover and they'd learn for their next character... a standard rite of passage in any MMO for brand new players.
  3. Yeah, your reasoning is sound, but practically speaking it doesn't work out around that low level. That's good advice though, generally you keep the moddable weapon you like best and just change out the mods on each planet using Commendations. Thanks for pointing that out!
  4. He's talking about a Datacron he has to get for a class quest, I believe.
  5. Wait, what? The lightsabers you can get from the legacy vendor is considerably better than the one you get from Tython ( any legacy weapon is better than your starter planet weapon. ) The legacy weapon is closer to a purple non-mod weapon than a green quality weapon.
  6. I think pretty much any of the ones that aren't locked. The servers were merged as you may know, so they all have decent, thriving populations now.
  7. The same is true here for both of my accounts. I think the people who think they paid for time before they could get their 30 days are confused. They think they paid for time because they had to enter information and select a subscription plan, and a confirmation email was sent. I bet if they checked their credit statement they'd see that the game didn't charge until the 30 days were up. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling I'm right.
  8. Yes, there are, and the poster we're referring to has shown his reason for requesting it be shown. There's no real reason to hide it unless you don't want people to know who you are, across the server. That's what I was getting at.
  9. I'm on The Bastion, let me tell ya. Spacebar to skip scenes? Not really an issue for me. You don't use spacebar to jump constantly? Get the hell out. P.S. I am joking.
  10. These people are the ones that will never be satisfied with any game. It doesn't matter what the game was, and if it did, they would be playing that game instead.
  11. Hiding your nameplate is sufficient, as it only hides it from you. Hiding your legacy hides it from everyone. That's very different.
  12. I don't think you can and it probably isn't a feature in the near future. I started a trial account for my girlfriend to play on until she was able to get an account... I recommend the same plan, mate.
  13. How will it possibly mess up anyone's gameplay? People have been complaining about these issues in every MMO to date and none of them will ever do anything because there isn't anything that can possibly be done. His complaint ends here, and the only thing that's at stake is his own subscription, which has absolutely no effect on anyone else. It's impossible for him to be selfish when only his own is affected.
  14. Keeping in mind I don't support his position, I don't understand how you came to the conclusion that he's selfish. That makes no sense.
