  1. I remember finding such a website in the past, but I'm now returning after a one year haitus and I don't remember the site. I got a lightsaber from Ajunta Pall's tomb from an NPC by looking at the NPC drops, but now I can't find them after google searching for a while. I was wondering if anyone knows about a website that lists this kind of data. I don't want just quest loot, but the drops for all the basic NPCs. If anyone knows of such a resource I would much appreciate it.

    Hello

Well, if you've already been roleplaying then I'm not sure what you already know, but read up on metagaming and godmodding, because those are big problems that a lot of roleplayers face. Stay away from cantina's for the most part unless you like standing around talking and doing basically nothing more interesting than that. Come up with a backstory, and character flaws. Flaws are so important because they really flesh out your character as an individual. Hope you have fun!
  3. Yeah, it really blows that you can't message people from the opposite faction. I do hate all the restrictions. In DC Universe Online for example, heroes and villains could run around together, and characters could freely switch back and forth from servers. I have Republic characters too though, so I'll message you with one of those next time I'm on. Man, I wish networking in this game was half as easy as any other game on the face of the Earth.
  4. Thanks Erevan, that was exactly what I needed.
  5. They should make Mastery govern everything and be the only stat.
  6. Hi, I've been searching the forums and googling, and I can't find a simple description of what each stat does. I found this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=847112 It tells me what stats to go for according to my class. But I don't really understand what they are. I'm looking at the modification vendor and what augments to buy and put into my gear, and I guess I could just buy what has most of what I supposedly need according to the above link, but I want to understand why and I just can't find the most basic info describing what each skill is and does. I mean, that info is usually extremely easy to find in most games, but all I can find is old information because the game has changed so much over the years.
  7. Centauri Industries was founded almost three years ago when a number of large companies were acquired by new ownership and merged. They are a megacorporation with hundreds of subsidiary companies spread all across the galaxy. A month after the company was formed it's original owners vanished without a trace and the company fell to the board of directors. In recent years the company has done reasonably well, it's stock market value rising. A few days ago several members of the board of directors went missing.

  9. I just rejoined after a two and a half year hiatus, and I'm surprised that Jung Ma is dying. But luckily Ebon Hawk was where I was originally, so I'm glad to hear it's still doing well. Also, just wanted to say that RoH's story was actually pretty heart warming.
  10. Hi, I'm an old member returning and reviving my old RP guild. Those interested can message me in game or PM me here on the forums. My in-game characters are Zotis and Yuka. I am not promising to be very active, as I only intend to play occasionally now. I am a hardcore Roleplayer. I RP constantly whenever I play. I learned to Roleplay from years of playing tabletop games like D&D and on play-by-post websites like rpol.net. With an emphasis on story driven character development and hit location injury charts I strive for only the most meaningful roleplaying experience because we only get to live once. I would also like to organise events with other roleplaying guilds as much as possible. The Collection of Seekers' primary objective is to locate an old Sith Lord who vanished. His name is Argin'taro. Any information leading to his whereabouts would be greatly rewarded. Centauri Industries is The Collection's front, a commercial enterprise devoted to the manufacturing, shipping, and receiving of arms, armaments, military equipment, and machinery. Additionally we deal in personal security and information gathering and brokering. Our services extend to many militaries and private organizations, and we possess subsidiary companies across the galaxy. In addition to our regular staffing, Centauri Industries seeks to employ mercenaries, body guards, bounty hunters, assassins, and covert operatives. This is a non-force user guild.
  11. Hi everyone, I've just returned after a long absence and I'm restarting my RP guild. The guild is called <The Collection of Seekers> and Centauri Industries is our organization's corporate front. I have fifteen years of roleplaying experience, and I roleplay constantly when I play. I basically play in character non-stop. One thing I can't stand is RP guilds that organize events periodically, but the rest of the time simply play the game. Roleplaying to me is all about getting more out of the game than it was ever intended. It's about not accepting merely what the game offers, but making our own fun. I'm interested in integrating with other guilds too and cooperatively organizing events and writing stories. I'm not very active anymore as I have a full-time job and other responsibilities. But when I play I want to have the best experience I can, and share that with others. My guild is a non-force user guild on the Sith side, but I am also open to hopping onto the Republic side with my Republic characters for RP events. Also, if anyone knows anything about the whereabouts of a Sith Lord named Argin'taro, I'm desperately trying to get back in touch with him. He was my co-leader back in the day. Even if he doesn't intend on returning to the game, I still want to get in touch with him because he was a really cool guy.
  12. I think Shakarian pretty much hit the nail on the head, so I won't be redundant by repeating what she said. I'll just say that I completely agree. However, I will point out that there is a great misunderstanding about what roleplaying is. It should be obvious, but it doesn't seem to be. Roleplaying is playing a role. Beltane stated, "Every MMO in existence is technically a 'role playing game' i.e. RPG..." I understand what he's saying, and he's right. To be more accurate though, every MMORPG is a roleplaying game. However, there are FPSMMOs that are not MMORPGs, and are not roleplaying games. But that is beside the point. Every RPG is a roleplaying game. Does that mean every time you play them you are roleplaying? On this point I disagree with Beltane. If you were (which you're not) roleplaying while grinding, running everywhere, phasing through other players and objects, and being virtually invulnerable to laser blasts and grenades exploding in your your face, then you would be roleplaying some kind of demigod or something. But in order for you to do that you would have to be decidedly pretending to be a demigod in order for those actions to be considered roleplaying. If you are not thinking of the game and your actions in any way other than you're playing a video game, then you are not roleplaying by any stretch of the imagination. P.S. If you observe what those people in fleet think is roleplaying, please don't feel you have to limit yourself to standing around talking and pretending to be drunk. Some of us veteran RPers actually know how to run proper scenarios.
  13. I've added all the bounties but haven't seen any online for several days. I'm online for 12 hour stretches 2-3 times a week. I'm thinking of putting a character on, but I'm kind of busy focusing on my main atm so I dunno, maybe eventually.
  14. Hey Lucaus, I'm not getting anything for the new site... just a blank white page with nothing on it. Edit: Nevermind, I guess it just wasn't working on certain computers. It works on my desktop.
