  1. This has almost certainly been covered before, and if so, I apologize, but I would just like to make this post because it's something I've been thinking about as I've been playing and crafting. It occurs to me that, as of right now, there is something of an imbalance in the crafting skills, in that Armormech and Synthweaving seem to be getting the short end of the stick, while Cybertech is by far one of the most useful skills in the game. What I mean is this. Most crafting skills offer you the ability to make things that are useful for the level you are currently at, regardless of what you currently have. Armstech and Artifice can both create weapons and upgrades for modifiable weapons, and artifice also gets to make generators and enhancements, while armstech gets to make shotguns and weapons that aren't commonly available for minions. Medtech makes healthpacks, adrenals, and implants, as well as stims. Armormech and Synthweaving make light, medium, and heavy armor, but nothing for modifiable gear. No armor plating, which is a break from the armstech/artifice model, and makes it less useful as you level up and you get more and more modifiable gear for yourself and your companions. Cybertech, meanwhile, makes all kinds of armor plating (useful to ALL armors), mods (useful to ALL modifiable gear), grenades, implants, starship parts, and speeders. This makes Cybertech extremely useful, and frankly I think more useful throughout the game than many other crafting skills. While I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say the others are useless, or that even Armormech and Synthweaving are themselves useless, they do seem to have far less overall utility than Cybertech. To resolve this, I would simply remove the armor plating from Cybertech and have the Str/Will (Jedi) armor plating moved to Synthweaving, and the Cun/Aim stuff over to Armormech. This, I think, would make a character that wants to focus on their armor sensibly take the armor-making skills, and not cybertech, which even without the plating has incredible utility. So if any Devs are reading, please at least consider this request. I'm loving the game so far and I'm having a great time, and I'm looking forward to where this game goes from here. Now punch it Bowdaar!
