  1. That is quite reasonable, actually. I still probably wouldn't spec into it, except maybe for the silly "move around alot without lethality" build I came up with, but the buff makes sense, and isn't broken.
  2. He's not a World Boss, just a random Champion. All world bosses say <world boss> or something similar under their name.
  3. You can find it about 60% down the first page of this http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=409021.
  4. Sentinel is supposed to be more favorable, but it will be FOTM. Metagame wise, Guardians\s could be tanks or DPS. If some other tank gets nerfed, resulting in a deficiency of tanks, Guardianss would be more highly valued. In addition, Guardians could be buffed, or DPS could experience a buff, or tanks in general could be buffed. So Guardians would be a better metagame choice. But honestly, the difference is small, pick whichever seems more interesting.
  5. We snipers have an ability, its called crouch, and it makes it so... WE CROUCH. You don't need to use the take cover ability that makes you roll, I don't even know what my keybind to use it is. No more rolling were you didn't want to roll to.
  6. I've never been in a 600-0, but I was in a losing side 590-0. I was the only person to cap for my team, too. I went for our gimme, the rest zerged middle. 2 Repubs went for my turret, one for their's, and the 5 in the middle held off our 7 until the 2 who killed me got into the middle. Then I kept going for the turret I had capped, and they kept dying in the middle. I topped the charts for my team, at about 100K.
  7. Its an MMORPG, the grind will exist. And its not the "masses" who demand skill being the only factor, its you. Most people either enjoy persevering against someone who has a stat advantage, are accepting of the fact that that's how it happens, enjoy grinding, or are 2 or even all 3 of those. And if you pick your target right, and have a more polished rotation than them, you should win 40% or 50% of the people who you fight. And picking your target does involve targeting the guy in cent/champ gear rather than the BM. That's part of skill, knowing who you can kill.
  8. The Blood Legacy, that's the quest on Korriban where you kill the elite that spawns in the blood pool, right? The strongs you fight aren't a problem, at level 7, when I had last updated my skills at level 5, I could take 2 of the strongs at once. The elite was tough, I needed to get my new skills from the tutor to beat it. But it definitely isn't anywhere near heroic difficulty- update your skills and armor, maybe use a medpack, and you have no reason to die.
  9. You get Expertise from PvP armor. The first time you can get expertise is ~40 from the PvP gear, but you only really notice a difference when you hit 50 and start getting Centurion, Champion, and Battlemaster gear. Champ gear gets you around 8% damage reduction/bonus, BM gets you around 15% I believe. Valor Rank is vaguely similar to Experience. You get it from PvPing, it earns you titles, and at 60 (?) Valor Rank you get the Battlemaster title and start purchasing BM gear. At rank 70 you become a War Hero, which I don't believe relates to the new gear coming in Game Update 1.2, but I don't know. Some of the specifics may be incorrect, my highest character is level 30 as I'm currently waiting for my RL friends to catch up.
  10. Both Battlefronts, Empire At War (Sometimes Forces of Corruption), the Star Wars RPG, both Force Unleashed games, and uh... I don't know, its late. Edit: Reading the thread has jogged my memory- Jedi Starfighter, Bounty Hunter, and the Lego Star Wars games.
  11. I personally fear Powertechs the most, but that's just because the only person on the server who CONSISTENTLY beats me is a Powertech. No one else gives so much more than they get from me. Some people beat me more often than not, but its close, just a few kills for the gap. P.S. What kind of weapons are these? and
  12. I personally like suppressing fire. I lag a lot and don't always see stealthers capturing the nodes if they start to cap while in stealth. So when I end up being the only defender on a Voidstar door or Alderaan node, I just take cover and spam Suppressive Fire on the target. Stealthers get taken out of stealth and are interrupted and it casts long enough that a second or so of doing is all it takes for it to be energy neutral.
  13. I think the Snipers pretty good, I assume it is anyway. I've topped charts playing on my computer which isn't up to the minimum specs for TOR (I literally don't know how it runs). I do get killed by Assassins, but I partially attribute that to the fact the Tab button doesn't like to target them even when they are beating my face in, and my computer lags too much to click on them as they dance in acrobatic circles.
  14. It wasn't a stun, it was a root. They could still hit you, they were just unable to run away for 2 seconds while you leaped towards them.
  15. Would the Miraluka still hold the rifle up near their head, or would the hold it in whatever position involves thee least recoil?
