  1. Just hoping this will be actioned as it is currently the only unintended balance between mirror classes
  2. Ok, and the CSR's telling people to make a suggestion about it (ie. not a bug report)?
  3. Well actually, it's not on the Known issues list and the in-game CSR's are telling people to make a thread on the 'Suggestion Box' forum. This suggests that they do NOT know about the imbalance. Admittedly I DID, and continue to, use strong language because it gets attention from other posters (see Uber_the_goober) and helps keep the thread on the first page to get attention. If this is true this is the first I've heard of it. The more awareness you can make of the issue the more likely it will get noticed and fixed.
  4. So you are complaining about an intended game design decision, that also affects Commandos/Mercenaries by the way, while I'm asking about an UNINTENDED issue with the talent trees that were updated with 2.0. You would be complaining if Gunslingers only got 2% accuracy with the Sharpshooter talent while Snipers for 3% with their Marksmanship talent would you not Oh and thanks for the bump again mate! It helps keep this post on page 1.
  5. Poor troll is poor troll but thanks for the bump on this dude!
  6. For those who don't know the Guardian version of 'Inner Peace' gives 5% int/ele resist while the Juggernaut version (Dark Blood) only gives 4%. The CSR's in-game told people to put it in as a suggestion to the 'Suggestions Box' forum. Completely stupid advice given from people who have NFI about the game! Bug Report and Tested and Confirmed There are several more threads out there but these two are the best. A complete screw-up and ACTUAL imbalance between the factions/mirror class not being acknowledged meanwhile BW is happy to respond to silly appearance threads.
  7. Actually the extra HP is only used at the end of your 'life' because it's only useful if the hit would have killed you at a lower HP level. Eg. Two tanks, one has 20k health the other 25k. That extra 5k health is only useful to the second tank if they have already taken 20k damage first. If both tanks have taken 19.5k health then the first tank will be on 500hp and the second 5500hp. The next hit will probably kill the first tank, while the second could survive it. This is ignoring the Self heal mechanics (shadows TkT) etc.
  8. Well the patch notes Dulfy posted say 1 Force per Point for the talent so I would assume it means every rippling force proc restores 2 force back to the shadow, since the talent is a 2 point talent giving a 50/100% chance on Force Technique damage proccing. LINK
  9. Not do discount your awesome work KBN but I'm pretty sure that Rippling Force gives back 2 Force per proc as it's 1 force point back per talent point spent. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not a big Shadow player (an alt, transferred to the PTN among many other toons).
  10. AND i'm back from un-subbing and here is my response to the questionaire about why: I am un-subscribing due to the APAC server issue. I am extremely unhappy about the result that BW has decided upon. It feels like the APAC players have been strung along and then ignored. I am very disappointed and upset as I enjoy the game and was looking forward to the expansion and playing with other APAC players. I still believe that an APAC Super-server is the best idea but at the least an option to choose a destination server is needed to be there. I have 3 50's on 'The Harbinger' and 5 50's on MDN and they will STILL be on separate servers! I have been patiently been waiting for over 6 months for dialogue about the fate of our servers and for them to be shut down is a bitter pill to swallow. From being in a large and vibrant guild on MDN, which leaked players to the point of loosing 4 raid groups to 1 inconsistent raid group, I moved with a few of the more dedicated players to 'The Harbinger' (as the highest population server) to try and make a go of it. Unfortunately having to start from basically zero again (in regards to legacy, credits, etc.) made it too hard except for a couple of us. This is now the final straw for me as I have lost most of my SWTOR friends and the chance of the expansion bringing them back will basically be zero due to this APAC shutdown. I will still log in sparingly (being F2P) to see how many people come back, but having to change servers will be a death sentence to friendship as the name changes will destroy any connections we have. Thank you BW for an enjoyable year of playing SWTOR but I now have little room for nothing but hate and lost respect for you guys. This is NOT the best option for the APAC community, just for your bottom line (server costs). I wish I could take back all the time and money I have wasted (in regards to the Cartel Market and waiting for an answer). Regretfully, John PS. I would love for you to refund me the expansion but I know you wont, I'm really not sure if I'll even try it now.
  11. OH GOD! What a BAD decision. I'm seriously asking for a refund on the Expansion. I'm going to have characters on 2 different servers STILL. No option of choosing a server for transferring to. I'm off now to un-subscribe.....
  12. To be honest, if they turn around and say they are waiting till after 2.0 to see how the population is affected I'm un-subbing sooo quickly! They say they care about us but they ALWAYS seem to have maintenance in a time frame that screws us over. It just seems that we are an annoying after thought, like realising that mosquito that bit you makes you itchy.
  13. This thread is the highest viewed thread in the General Discussion forum by about 40k views and the highest responded thread by nearly double the posts of the next highest thread, BUT NOTHING HAS STILL BEEN DONE!
  14. +1 for Server merge into one big oceanic super server. Character transfers (inbound @ server merge and then outbound 1-2 months later) optional but severely recommended, whether they are free or paid it should happen. I have 5 50's on MDN and when my main guildies moved over to 'The Harbinger' I followed a couple of weeks later. I now have 7 50's. It is so much easier to gear up and much more fun to play when you have 2-3 fleets (250 people per fleet) worth of people just sitting around wanting to do stuff. Because of this my most geared toon is now on 'The Harbinger' and it took a fraction of the time to gear him compared to my favourite toon that took months of careful planning and grinding to gear up. Alot of the time my Tank on US just runs guild Ops where he gets no gear because we are gearing up others who have moved servers too. My Best geared toon on 'The Harbringer' - /played 9 days, 12 hours My beast geared (and favorite) toon on 'MDN' - /played 12 days, 9 hours I'm at the point that I've started a marauder on the US just so I can play that AC again and I'm also debating whether to cancel my sub or wait till ROTHC to see if I get motivation back to seriously play the game outside of helping out guildies.
