  1. I still firmly believe that the emperor used scourge. The emperor is a being of dark energy and can obviously see into the future just like the entity on correllia. Not only this but he would be able to sense the true alignment of scourge after he betrays revan. Afterall jaesa willsam can easily do this, so the dark lord of the sith should also. Why else would the emperor keep scourge in the dark about the voices and his hand? It is more likely that the emperor might of been defeated by revan, and in a last ditch effort turned scourge on revan by implanting the vision and using scourge as a pawn ever since. Was it to fake his own death? To get a shot at the JK? Who knows. What we do know is that lord vitiate is already immortal through the original devouring of his home planet. There is no need for him to do any doomsday plot in act 3, he is simply stringing the JK along into confrontation. When the JK faces the voice, we know it is the voice for one reason alone. If it was the true essence of the emperor, the JK would have been "touched" just as servant 2 was. After being defeated you might ask why he is taking so long to recover in comparison to whrn the SW kills him. There are two reasons for this. The first is the location of the kill. When the SW kills the voice, he is in an area of PROFOUND dark energy, aka the dark heart of voss. The JK killed his voice in the dark temple yes, but the power is not as raw as the dark heart's. The second reason is the effort he exerted in each battle. On voss he allows the SW to kill him to free him, while on DK he uses all his energy trying to kill the JK, severely exhausting his powers. Let us not forget the mail the SW receives from the hand, and the unique dialogue choice to darth marr confirming the emperor is still alive. Darth marr does have a point though. If he is nusing his wounds then he is not fit to rule right now. However for all we know the emperor is recovered by now and simply putting a bigger plot together and using his thought to be death to his advantage. All of this points back to scourge though. He is obviously a deep cover agent for the emperor orhas been used as a pawn since being named wrath.
  2. I have recently been asking about my guildies and other such friends on the empire side of jedi covenant to see what they would like in game that is not really discussed or is cool and unique. Here are the top three I heard. 1. Mobile App Many other MMO's have done this with great success. I am not saying that SWTOR needs to copy them, but it would be nice to say send my companions out to do crew skills while I am out and about and not at my computer. 2. HK-51 Personality change Many of my friends like me are huge KOTOR fans. We love to share in the nostalgia of HK-47 and his slaughtering of organic meatbags. While I was very pleased to get my own HK-51, I was saddened at the lack of an option to change his personality to the old meatbag slaughtering droid I came to love. I thought this could be implemented during his affection dialogs so dark side people such as myself could parade around like old times gaining affection for our bad deeds and hearing the word meatbag more than a handful of times instead of him only being concerned about "Efficiency". Of course this would only be an option and wouldn't be forced upon anyone who wanted the normal HK-51. 3. Class story replayability I have fallen in love with many of the class stories like many of you. I know this has actually been brought up a lot, but there are different options to take with this. The first is a hardmode type run through the entirety of your class quest starting from your class starting world. This would level up the mobs to 55 and might give some commendations or flashpoint level gear to entice people to do it. Another suggestion was that you can click and choose certain missions you would like to be replayed as your current character, scaling could be included for difficulty, however it could also just be a select and play of certain parts of the story you like in it's original difficulty. The final option I have heard (which I don't like too much) is being able to view your class quest cut scenes exactly how you were when you played through it. That means exact armor and dialog choices. Probably the hardmode option is my favorite, but I am still open to new ideas on this subject as well. I think all three of these ideas would be easy to implement with the quality of life improvements going on in game right now. Hell a hard mode storyline could have a patch of it's own (which is nice for bioware). However, this is for you guys, the community. What do you think of these ideas? Should we give them a lot of attention in hopes that bioware might see? How could we improve on them? Do you not like them, and if not, why? Please be detailed in your responses
  3. After a lot of thought on this (I find myself being slow sometimes XD), I believe it's inevitable that the prophecy becomes self fulfilling. I have been thinking of multiple "what ifs?" lately, and have concluded that the reason we fight the Emperor is because Scourge acted as he did because of his vision. He basically paved the way for our encounters (present and future) with the Emperor. Whether Revan, Meetra and Scourge fought the true body or not, Scourge's actions alone are what bring us to the final battle, and what will likely have us beating down on the Emperor again. I completely agree however I see the big picture differently. Heres my two cents on what happend. It is obvious scourge either was kept in the dark about the voice, or he is the emperor's most successful agent. Here is the first cenario planned out. As we all know, the emperor has had no issues surviving for over a thousand years without devouring entire planets. My theory is that the emperor has had all of this planned for hundreds of years to get a shot at the JK. Afterall he is a threat to the emperor. As soon as scourge was in contact with the emperor he was being played. The emperor kept him out of the loop with the existance of the hand, and the voices. It is more likely the emperor implanted scourge's vision of the galaxy dying, and the JK's face. Why you ask? Because he wanted scourge to believe that this was really going to happen, and to bait the JK into a trap with him, and possibly his true wrath waiting (the SW). Unfortunately because of sith politics Baras was battling the SW at the time, and the SW was not there to back up the voice. This is a entity that has had over a thousand years to scheme and plot to kill this one person who could harm him. There was really never a james bond doomsday vilan situation. As soon as the JK was out of the way he was free and clear to finally wipe out the jedi and the republic once and for all. There is also the chance scourge has been working with the emperor the entire time and has been trying to bait the JK as previously stated. That's just my theory.
  4. Assassins still have the highest dps of all the tanks
  5. This is not only bad for the sith, but more specifically, MARAUDERS. Since release marauders have BEGGED for hoods that apparently the jugs get. They advertised marauders using jug armor, and jugs using robot looking armor. What do marauders get for our first tier? ROBOT ARMOR! Now tell me bioware, how is this heavy metal suit we are wearing MEDIUM armor? and the robes a jug is wearing HEAVY armor? The new armor skins are a spit in the face directly from bioware directed towards sith warriors and even more so, marauders. The jedi got their hood down basic brown robes that they have been asking for, now where is our armor that almost every sith warrior has been asking about? Or is it just to hard to make a new armor skin/recolor an armor set *COUGH COUGH XENOTECH WEAPONMASTERS VEST COUGH COUGH*. It is truly a disappointment the lack of listening bioware does on the imp side. Sorry but I don't believe a black robe with a hood is to much to ask for. I completely agree with OP, EA ware is holding the carrot in front of us sith because they know we like to look awesome, but yet they satisfied the jedi. I know they say they don't play favorites, but please explain to me how this is not playing to favorites when one side gets EXACTLY what they want, and the other gets something they CLEARLY didn't want.
  6. Well like I said, it could be a PERSONAL damage/healer/tanking meter, so no one else can see what you are doing.
  7. Gotcha, well dual spec could easily make this case closed. Which they have confirmed they are working on, however its on the back burner. However in bioware terms who knows how long that is?
  8. Amazing, this would either have to be a 16 man ops or an easier part when you split up into groups of four, because you are probably going to have 2 healer/dps pairs, and 2 tank/dps pairs. With the tank/dps pairs holding the highest dps to burn the mobs down. However sadly I think this might be waaaay out of scope for bioware :/ awesome as it would be. Also the story of the ship would have to be like a ship containing the jedi council/ dark council. Because if a group of the finest soldiers the imps/pubs have to offer (I.E. The Emperor's Wrath, Last agent, Professional Ghost Buster...ect) was somehow defeated, they would have to of been hijacking one of the toughest ships to hijack in the galaxy, and orbiting the home world of the opposite faction. And I don't just mean normal foot soldiers defeating them, I mean WAVES of sith/jedi MASTERS that eventually incapacitate you. But the idea itself is solid, good work, and put those ideas to good use in the future!
  9. *sigh* If tanks want to deal damage, go DPS. Its in the job description people. If tanks can do as much damage as a dps the dps role is suddenly obsolete. For all of you that disagree, look at this example. Ops leader: Hey we have a jug and a marauder asking to run with us, who do we choose? Healer: Jug, marauders do about the same dps as an immortal jug, so it will make my job easier healing him! *Invites tank/dps hybrid* Oh look snipers and marauders are right then and there no longer needed. Making tanks do as much damage as a dps instantly dumb downs the game. Healers slack because they don't need to heal as much, and entire advanced classes would no longer be wanted no matter what the spec. So for all of you that think tanks should be doing a dps amount of damage, just make a dps and quit whinning, you chose your advanced class, live with it.
  10. Come on guys, is no one really still interested? Or is this just in with the whole "crap bioware needs to fix but will never get to" bundle.
  11. Hire this man bioware....I would love my carnage marauder to actually do acrobatics! Not just the abilities giving a different animation in comparison to say the final abilities of rage or anihil
  12. I completely agree, I was thoroughly unhappy when the announced that Makeb wouldn't have any class story missions, only "faction". On that same note, I have suggested in the past a replay or hardcore mode of being able to go back and do your class missions, whether it be completely starting from the beginning, or a menu where you can select which class mission you would like to do. Of course the second option would be more towards if they didn't add a hardcore version. However if there was a hardcore version, they could make all mobs level 50, and give the new 50 either creds, special "story mission" coms that you can spend, or even Columi tokens or something. An even better suggestion would be a hardcore level gear set, which has no mods in it, but is completely adaptable, so if you are a marauder per say, and you like the more jug looking armor, you can wear it. Because its ADAPTABLE. But all of these suggestions stem from either the advancement or re playability of the class storyline, which I whole heartily agree with. Sorry if I went a little off topic
  13. I feel the need to bump this thread once again, I fully support individual damage meters. From a person who wants to see what dps they are throwing out, this is a great compromise. My theory behind it is some guilds/friends want to compare dps/healing/tps, but they have no way of doing it. Turning it into an INDIVIDUAL meter eliminates others being able to see what you are throwing out in an ops/FP, but allows you to compare with friends and guildies if you so choose. I hope this suggestion sticks and that this topic can be revived from the dead.
  14. Reinforced matrix chestguard for marauders,or for the love of god some black robes. I mean the jedi got what they wanted in the cartel market with hood down robes, now where is the love for the marauders that includes something at least BLACK. I don't want to walk around looking like a jedi if I want a hood.
  15. Couldn't agree more. There is so much things EAware could do that the community has been crying out for ages. Whether its pride or just flat out denying these ideas, it is a terrible business policy to not listen to your fans. Take the hood up/down example. People have been begging for this feature since the game released, yet they refuse to comment about it. My theory is that they are so egotistical since EA took over that they don't want to use any fan material in fear that it may show they are not "capable". ME3 was the perfect example of this, the fans gave bioware the indoctrination theory all the way down to the minute little details and clearly said "even if this isn't true, its free to use bioware". And look where that went. I must say over the past few months I have been getting more and more frustrated with Bio/EAware. Whether its their TERRIBLE customer service, to the simply ignoring of fans and their ideas. This one change in the game would renew a small amount of hope for me and the redemption of BIOWARE.
