  1. I was on Darth Scion the day before yesterday in the morning and there were 8 people on the imperial fleet. I guess it's another weekend of leveling a character solo. Joy. I will wait patiently, it's just frustrating.. I would really love to play some group content...
  2. Here are my 5 reasons that I unsubscribed today. 1. No innovation. I know this has been said over and over again, but it feels like I am playing the same game over again that I had already left for something new. 2. Server population. Servers are drying up and I had to reroll on another server so that I could actually play with people and sell things on the GTN. 3. Bugs keep popping up. They say things are fixed in the patch notes and they are not, plus it seems like every time they fix something, then something else gets broken. 4. Dailies. Enough said. 5. Lack of character progression past level 50 besides gear. This is an MMO trend that needs to die a horrible death quickly. I am tired of the only way that I can make my character any more powerful is to get better gear. It would be nice to have combat skills to level up that take a whiel that make a marked improvement on my characters performance, or an AA system that gives you abilities that work in PvE only and not in PvP so that it remains balanced and yet still gives you something to work towards. I hope that someone innovates soon, because I really love the idea of MMO games and being able to play in a living breathing world with other players who have similar goals as you. I hope that game comes along soon.
  3. I feel the same as the OP. I sat down and thought about it today while I was at work and I came home and hit the cancel button. I really wanted this game to be great, but in its current stage I just cannot justify paying a monthly fee to have to wait for something to do. I hope that there will be some content to bring my back in the future because my first play through was a blast. There is just nothing to keep me here.
  4. some things I would like to see to make me keep subbing are: 1. A way to advance your character besides the gear treadmill (legacy looks to possibly be able to provide this) 2. More customization in crafting. I want to be able to make things that are unique, not the same blaster pistol that everyone else can make. 3. More variety. I understand this game is new, but once you get to 50 doing it a second time is pretty much exactly the same minus the class quest differences. There nees to be choice of whether you want to visit one planet or a different one that is the same level. 4. Better LFG tool. I understand they do not want to destroy the community, but I would like a better way to find groups for FPs when I am out and about doing dailies crafting etc. maybe a galaxy-wide channel if you are LFG or something. I am sticking with the game for now to see where it goes. I know it is new and I know that they need time. They have stated that they are listening to the community so I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. And where the hell is the wookie homeworld? I wanna kill me some big furry chewbacca looking bigfoot wannabes.
  5. I am sorry, I should have put in there that it was my opinion that this stuff has gotten old. I do love the FPs and the story to get to max level rivaled lots of single player RPGs that I have played. I am by no means giving up on this game, but as another poster put it I do not want status quo anymore.
  6. I get really irritated with the people that say "you rushed to 50 so it is your fault there is nothing to do". That argument is extremely invalid, because it does not matter if you rush or not the point is that once you reach 50 the only things there are to do is PvP, do hard modes, or grind daily quests. It is not fun and hasn't been fun for 5 years now. Just because someone is 50 in a month does not mean that they rushed. I made 50 in three weeks and I have a full time job.
  7. I send out all of my companion characters all of the time on slicing and underworld trading missions, and it is getting really frustrating that as I am doing something, and one of my companions comes back it interrupts whatever I am doing and I have to start over. This applies to sending mail, looking at the GTN, etc. I would really like to see it make a small notification like it does when you are in a cutscene and you just see a pending notification in the corner of the screen.
  8. I would probably just troll the forums of other MMOs asking people there what they will do when their game fails.
  9. I think that it is a pretty common issue though that people are getting burned out just grinding for gear all the time with nothing else to do at max level. The legacy has promise because it looks like something that you can work towards past level 50. Everquest had alternate advancement points, Final Fantasy XI had something similar to alternate advancement, LOTRO had legendary items that gained experience. There are lots of options available besides just a grind dailies, grind heroics, or grind PvP....
  10. I want to start by saying that this game does have some innovation and my first play through of an imperial agent was an amazing experience. The story was great and I found myself wanting to log on just so I could see what happened next. But then I hit 50... I think that the MMO community has evolved quite a bit over the past few years and most of us are getting a little burned out from daily quests, hard mode dungeons, and raids. I had really high hopes for a good endgame with SWTOR but it seems like Bioware is playing it safe and going with the formula used by just about every other MMO out there. I am not cancelling my subscription, I just wanted to make a plea to Bioware to please do something different. I would love a method to be able to advance my character past maximum level with something other than just grinding gear. I know that there are things on the horizon. I would just like to see some concrete plans for something that is outside of the standard grind to help me feel like I am just staying out of blind faith.
