1. reply to #1 I agree fully with this, I will admit I like the new clothes, but I can't say I care at all about the pets/mounts and I also will say I like the pets that are harder to get because I can take pride in having them because they're either hard to get or were limited to an old event I completed. reply to #2 yeah, events are fun but I haven't been doing the gree event at all this time around because of seeing Republic fighting Republic forces and not their "enemy." (as a trooper, I've gotten more help from sith then jedi in pvp areas) but that aside, what I want more than ops with the guild is more single player options such as more character/class only quests/story missions. Reply to #3 yeah... I got nothing to add to that, you got everything I'd want to say. lol Reply to #4 yeah, I want more class campaigns more than anything else, what I also what to see is more of my character fighting along side Republic/Imperial forces (depending on the character's military alignment). I played as a trooper and through out all 3 chapters I wanted to fight along side fellow soldiers and almost never did do any campaigns where I was one soldier in an army of infantry and tanks, it was always "go ahead of the army and be a One Man Army" I'd also like it if I could bring in more than one companion along with me, because yeah, it works (kinda) for jedi since they go around with their Padawan. but as a Soldier I want to work with my team, not just "well you're the healer so I have to take you." Reply to #5 can't say I pvp anymore so I don't really have any input here. Reply to #6 all through I don't have friends on the asia servers, nor have I played on them I still agree with you that they need to address that problem. 'nuff said. Reply to #7 I agree, I even got a new PC for this game and I hate the fleet cause of all the people, it's a nightmare trying to do anything so I'm very thankful that my ship has the upgrades I'd need to go to the fleet for. I don't have anything to say to #8 since I haven't looked for any new skills, for my trooper, I'd like it if more skills fired lasers and not packs of C4, railgun shots, and all that nonsence. I want to see more laser fire. but hey, they may just be me. also thank you for having this well thought out list, as much as I want more character customization and the ability to change how my characters look, I'd happily trade that for what you mentioned.
2. second, I also hope they add in new hair styles (and other things to customize your look), I'd really love it if they added in longer hair too.
3.
(1) Yes! face & body mods for sure (2) YYYYYYYYEAHHH !!! Gunships with as many turrets as possible would make me happy! How many people fit in an Ops group? 24? OK so the # of turrets on the cruiser will have to be 23. And we're rdy to launch! I think if there were gunships/capital ships with an increasing number of turrets, and you'd get to pilot the ship that fits the size of your crew: 2 turrets, 4 turrets, 6 turrets, 10 turrets, 16 turrets, 23 turrets ! Do you have any idea how fun it is to pilot a decent size crew!? Once you really get a handle on the piloting of a large ship, it's stupendously fun. And launching every day becomes very rewarding because then the skill of the turret gunners tends to build up fairly quickly. The only question is whether the large ships would have elite equipment of varying qualities that would be difficult to get ahold of through rare loot drops, or a combo of rare schematics + rare materials...or maybe a super-size set of hybrid ground + space missions (3)Yes! I've wanted to choose the voice ever since I made a tough-looking muscular-build character and the voice turned out sounding moderately wimpy. I would have liked to choose the voice to be sounding far more imposing. (4) nahhhh I'm not going to create any non-Republic characters, so I couldn't care less about being allowed to defect. (5) SP = Story Play? yah i don't care much about this possibility either, though it might actually be fun if there was a separate category (always collapsed by default) in Group Finder, that would have pretty much all of the class missions in it (100's?)... so that we could form group for our favorite class missions now and then... or just have it auto-choose a random one
In reply to (2) Never thought about having 24 guns on a ship, I was thinking of 2~3 turrets (for a party of 4, the fourth being the pilot) but I like that idea, man a gun on one of the massive warships and duke it out with turbolasers and yes, won't argue with that, I could do that all day. lol (5) And I never really thought what "SP" meant but I got the term from Ace Combat and a few other games that used it (New SP campaign) but in those, they allowed you to keep your high end stuff and replay the game over and over again, so for example, in Ace Combat Zero, you could play the game from start to finish using the same aircraft.
4. I know I've seen this suggestion on here before but this and a few other things I've said before I'd like to see added into the game with the aid of Cartel Coins. here's a short list of things I'd like to see added in. I'll add more as I think of them. If any of these costed some Cartel Coins I'd buy them, or if it was given to subscribers/preferred players that would make them even better. 1.) I think you need cutness reduction surgery... The ability to change how your character looks. I know people other than me have asked for this but what I'd like to see done is pay "X" amount of Cartel Coins, get sent back to the "create a character" section where you created your character the first time. Only difference is you can't change your name and you cant change races, changing body shape is fair because who says that just because your campaign started off with you all buff, who says you didn't slack off and gain a few pounds? 2.) All hands to battle stations. I've been suggesting Gun Turrets for Co-Op Space Missions for a while now (for nearly as long as the game's been out) but I'd like it if there were moments where you can take a party into space, all jump into the same star ship, and have yourself an awesome space battle where one flies the ship while the other three man guns to fend off fighters and the bigger fish. I want this more because of Episode IV when the Millennium Falcon escapes the Death Star and because of one of the trailers for this game where they show Jace and Satele man guns on the smuggler's ship. And if you can't get a party for space missions then your companions could man this guns. 3.) I think I'm a Clone. I'm not sure how many people want this but I for one would like it if we had the option to pick from voices when creating a character. One thing that I've always found confusing and a little disappointing is then there are two characters of the same class, gender, and sometimes race that sound the same, to me it pulls me out of the experience. It's confusing to me because sometimes I hear one character say something and I think "that's not what I picked" and then realizing it's not my character. Even if the voice tied to a race, it'd be a little better than a Sith Pureblood who sounds exactly the same as his human counterpart. 4.) Defection. it's a star wars classic that you can change sides during the movies (Anikin started as a Jedi, became a Sith, then went back to being a Jedi), so why can't we during the game, now maybe this is trickier than I'm thinking but honestly what I'd like is simply the ability to make a Republic character that has the Imperial Agent's accent or maybe a Sith who was once a Jedi and is able to use some of the Jedi skills, like flinging rocks or other items. 5.) New Game SP. One problem I hadn't realized I'd have until a few weeks had passed after hitting level 50 was that there was very little to do that didn't require a party, and even less when everything's based off of your gear and it's mods. The simplest solution to this problem is making a new character of the same class, but that's off putting to me because I just want the story and not all the side quests to level up and continue what I really want to do. I'd like it if we had the option to go back with our level 50 character and do all the class missions all over again to re-experience the story, no getting sidetracked by the need to level, and to make it so you're not over-kill in the beginning set the enemies to level 50, or don't being overkill can be fun. I also wouldn't be bothered if it made my companions unavailable until I unlocked them in the story again, but that's probably because I have HK-51. lol To those who read this, I thank you. If you work for SW:TOR, please tell your boss or if you are the boss, please tell someone to get to work on these.
5. I've had that sort of thing happen to me, cept as a Sage. but it's what worries me the most for the same reasons, the way I think they want it to be used with this new "cone" is push them away and run out the opening. but I prefer standing my ground, it makes me feel more heroic than "fighting to run away."
6. Only thing I'm worried about Force Wave/Overload's change, it seems like it could be frustrating when you're surrounded, fire it the wrong way during combat, and maybe die cause of it (in PvE). other than that looks good I guess, can't say it ever was a concern of mine since I don't PvP that often. On the other hand I like the idea of that because it makes me think of the movies when they'd just Force Push several droids to the ground. lol Other than that, most of the skill add-ons they're putting in seem like they'll be very helpful for PvE. I'm looking forward to the Trooper's new skill canceling skill
7. So while I was playing through a new class, I was helping a friend with their agent's story and it brought back memories of when I was there and it gave me an idea. why not allow a level 50 who's completed their chapter 3 the option to replay the entire campaign from landing on their starting planet to the very finish of chapter 3, without the additions of having to level up. simply put all the enemies in the story areas for the class just have the enemies inside adjusted to be level 50. I'd love this because it'd be fun to re-experience the Trooper's story but I don't want to start a new one or have to run around all day doing quests that's purpose is to level a character. I also know I wanted to do this because there were many areas where I wanted to see what happened in the story if I said or did something different. Another thing I'd like to see added in is the ability to change your appearance (maybe using cartel coins) since I'd like it if I could make my characters "age" now that their story is over (for the time being)... and maybe long hair would be nice too, since I don't like how it's all short hair that ends at the shoulders.
8. agreed, would be awesome if they made some areas on the planets open to lower level chars too, just so you can go somewhere new earlier on, maybe make like a mini story to go along with it. (since asking for a story rewrite for this is out of the question. lol)
9. I love this idea, I've even heard it a few times, that and this topic has annoyed me to no end since I lost both of my mains names to Imperial classes (I fight for the Republic) and one of them seems to be just holding the name to either sell it or because the owner had the same name. that and marriage would be good to see as well, allow two player's family trees merge. =) But what about if you've already imported over your character with another name or used those "Alt Codes"? my suggestion would be either add in a NPC onto the Republic/Imperial Fleet or here on the SWTOR website in an area like the character transfer area.
10. Actually the Republic has several different types of battle droids. one type of battle droid is even a companion you get as a trooper, but yeah, droids normally have their memory wiped to prevent that but there are the few that make it past, like R2 or HK-47, and some are even programmed with a personality, my example for this is going to be the Trooper companion. lol but yeah, they would need a new voice for the droid, wouldn't be enjoyable if they just put a synthesizer over the current voice. romance would be very hard for a droid, but I do recall them showing the imperial droid that comes with the ship being "romantic" with one of the Agent's companions, so it'd be hard but do-able.
11. actually don't they sell "VIP wristbands" from one of the stores on the fleets, they cost 1mil and give you access to the VIP stores. if you got the Collector's edition, you just get the wristband for free.
12. so I'm stoked for the new companion, but it made me wonder, why can't I be a bounty hunter droid, like IG-88 or HK-47. I think it'd be really cool, I think it'd be fun overall, maybe they can be released with the next update? =D
