  1. I am not on the fence. i have already unsubbed along with my raid team and the majority of a 1000 player guild. The only way i come back to this game is if Bioware is replaced as Developer and the game is relaunched with a new Developer who is committed to fixing the engine and developing actual MMO content instead of an old Online RPG. If i wanted to play an RPG I will play the RPG star wars console games when they come out in the next few years and if they are anything like Witcher 3 or DA Inquisition i will love them but i dont play MMOs for their RPG content, i play them with friends doing group content and since Biofail has decided to reset the level and gear tier again without giving group content, just because it will keep us grinding and giving them money then i see no reason to keep playing and giving them money so they can just take it for reskins of armor and mounts for the store and create faceroll content that can be completed in a week. If they had not reset the level and gear tier and left the ops as they were atleast my group could have just continued progressing in NiM content for the next few months and hopefully new Ops would be out but instead they chose to be greedy and i along many will not spend months regearing just to get back to the same spot we are now in the same ops we have been doing for years. So basically i dont plan on returning
  2. We still dont know if the current Ops will even be up scaled yet. Maybe you wont even need to get this Best gear if all NiMs are lvl 65
  3. Our Ops team is looking for a progression ready tank on the Imp side. We are currently working on 3rd floor Revan HM, our plan is to finish Revan then move on to the last 2 bosses in Ravagers. After that work on NiM We would prefer a PT tank but any of the 3 tank classes would work as long as you are geared and know your class Commanders HM Achievement is required, Revan HM experience is preferred. We run Wednesday, Thursday, Friday @ 7:00 Server time. Wednesday is optional and dedicated to getting the lockout for the boss we are working on. Thursday and Friday are for Progression.   5. I really dont like Arsenal. I find the blazing bolts proc very wonky but since i have to use it on some fights i am trying to get better at it. Im pretty much full optomized 224 and can usually parse 6.6 to 6.7 on IO my arsenal parses are around 6.3 or lower. I seem to be missing something as my apm is around 37 and most of the top parses are around 40. My alacrity is around 900. Should it be higher for arsenal? My basic priority for the spec is Proc Blazing as often as possible Heat seeker Railshot EN Priming Shot Tracer (as filler) Rapid shot almost never Is there something i should be doing with Supercharge cell? as i just hit it on CD I can post a parse if that would help
  6. I know this is a 3.0 guide and the Op may not even be playing the game anymore but i have a question. I picked up this rotation when i started out as IO in 3.0 as this guide made more sense than the dulfy one and it seemed more mobile to me because you didnt use back to back casts on powershot. But now that ive started parsing alot more in 4.0 ive noticed im like the only one using it. All other parses use the dulfy rotation. Is there something im missing? Is there a reason i should be using that rotation over this one?

  8. well i see the trolls are out in this thread i will help you out since no one else has, When healing apm depends on the fight and how much down time you have ehps is the most important stat really when it come to parsing healing numbers, apm doesnt mean as much for healers but for dps you should be around 40-43 on both specs but i find that im lower on arsenal than IO. thats probably because i hate arsenal tho Hope that helps
  9. Yes but with instant 60's, faceroll story content and dummed down specs its much worse in 4.x than it was 3.x and prior. Now instead of people running into the oricon daily bosses or story quest bosses and maybe learning at that point there are such things as interupts, defensive cds and proper rotations ect, now they hit that in fps/Ops and at that point its too much to comprehend that you need to use more than the 2 buttons they used to do the story with. You know how many sorcs ive had to tell they shouldnt be using their melee attacks lol. The problem is the game does nothing to get them ready for any endgame group content which with the way the game is going that is probably intended. also the people coming into the game now are used to easy content from this game and other story based games out there and from what ive seen most dont care to take the time to learn because they are mostly here to do the story and decorate their strongholds but they think they are entitled to being carried though Ops eventhough they dont realize thats whats happening.
  10. Anyone out there selling gear runs for tfb? Im just looking for last boss run Only and only want the 224 OH. the group can keep the rest. I have the lockout and I dont require much carrying lol (I guess thats debatable). I can dps 6.5k on a dummy and generally do 5k on boss fights and i dont usually stand in stupid unless im looking to give the healers a hard time. Problem is i dont have the chievo and getting it down with a pug and winning the roll is pretty improbable. So any guilds want to make some quick creds and run me through?

Unfortunately the ship has sailed for this game in terms of endgame/difficult content. it is now in maintenance/Story mode until the numbers turn red and EA shuts it down, the only thing really keeping it going is the movies. OP you say the ops team should be fired...well actually they were released to another game months ago so in fact there is no Ops team to fire atm. There is only a skeleton crew manning this game and they are committed to basic story content and cartel items. There is still a very small chance we get new ops at some point but they wont be anytime soon and if we do get them they will be a shell of what even Rav and ToS were, they will be buggy as all hell and will probably be on the difficulty scale of a EV or KP and thats even if they release a HM version of it. So i hate to be the one to break it to you OP but you are far too late in returning to this game if you were looking for anything that resembled the game you left. You have a choice though i suppose, finish up ToS and Rav HM and clean up any bosses you havent taken down in NiM or stay for the story (lol) since this is the best your gonna get from a Starwars MMO perspective until maybe a new Starwars MMO comes out or just leave now, your call.

Open roll is no better because people will still ninja on gear with need rolls when they have already won something, sure there could be a better system for distributing loot but that would take development and bioware doesnt have the staff to spare on something like that so gear distributing aint gonna change anytime soon. There are ways to protect yourself though, ask for loot rules before you start the OP. If the raid lead says we will hold all gear and/or mats to the end and you dont know/trust the lead or the guild then ask for the rolls to be at each boss. if they refuse then leave the group. If they change the loot rules at the first boss by holding items then call them out on it, if they refuse to roll then leave the group. Dont just ride it out and hope for the best then come on here and complain because you were too lazy to call them out or get the loot rules before starting.
  13. I fail to see how Story players are any different than NiM raiders except you dont have to do the level of testing like you would for a NiM raid, Sm and HM ops are different and cater to different people
  14. Im curious what dtps a tank should be taking on Unit 1 on SS HM these days? My group is having a hard time keeping the tanks alive especially the tank on unit 1, we are using the tank swap when unit 2 targets the other tank and they say they are using all cooldowns. The healing numbers are around 12k ehps between the 2 healers, the dps take between 900 - 1300 dtps so i dont think its a healing issue and the dps isnt taking huge damage thats taking away the heals from the tanks so to me it seems like the tanks are missing something and taking too much damage. The tank on unit 2 usually takes between 2.5 - 3k dtps and the tank on unit 1usually takes between 3.5 - 4k dtps, is that normal?
