So I returned to SWTOR. And now 7.0 is out, and my 40ism Sage no longer has Force Lift. That was a core ability. Now I hear its moved to 68th??? I have a 5 second stun. What else can I do for CC? I've left and returned before, and I swear they did something like this last time - taking away a core ability and moving up in level requirement. I know that the majority of players have high level characters, so I guess thats their base. But they are really screwing with the low level play. And before anyone says "You can get to 68th in a day." or "Just create a 70th level character." That's not how I want to play the game. I like going through all the content and taking my time. I don't like rushing to the end. Thoughts or suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Mal

Is there a way to sort in the guild vault? What about auto-stacking? If not, any suggestions on making this process easier? Thanks, Mal

Are there any really long double bladed light sabers?
Malleable replied to Malleable's topic in Shadow / Assassin
Ahavery, Great! Thanks much for the info. I figured they were all the same. Fantastic finding out I might find something extra long. Mal -
I think skill trees were much more enjoyable. There is no variation within disciplines. The game is about getting to max level and getting the best gear.

I'm guessing that all double bladed light sabers are the same length, but figure I'd ask. Any double bladed light sabers that are longer than others? Senaya's Pike kinda looks a little longer... But probably is just the same as all the others. Thanks Mal

Shadow Infiltration using Defensive Implants?
Malleable replied to Malleable's topic in Shadow / Assassin
Supertimtaf, So if one guy is using a shield, and duelist/defensive gear; and the other three guys using Focus, Force Lord/offensive, it should lower the damage of the tankish guy a little relative to the three offensive guys, and up his tankishness by a little, and the four guys can still bounce around aggro when necessary. I normally agree with you about "it can't damage you if its dead" philosophy, but it seems the lead guy always ends up taking damage too fast with initial contacts - so just hoping for a little more breathing room. But you suggest just using a Shield on the one guy, and Focus on the others, as being sufficient? I guess I can play around a bit. I seem to be getting more than enough blue gear to test both. Mal -
So I'm playing in a group of 4 Infiltration Shadows. I tend to be in the lead and semi-tanking. We all share damage, but I tend to be point on most things so I often take more damage than the others. Does it make sense to use some Defensive implants/gear rather than Force Lord Stuff? Or is it a waste if I'm not playing Kinetic? Thanks, Mal

Stealth - any way to increase effectiveness?
Malleable replied to Malleable's topic in New Player Help
I won't say I have challenges playing non-stealth classes, I've played commando and sage, and they were fun and honestly pretty easy to play. But once I tried a stealth class I enjoyed the ability to pass up trash mobs and attacking from stealth. They are more difficult to play to be honest, but I enjoy the game play a bit more. Mal -
Stealth - any way to increase effectiveness?
Malleable replied to Malleable's topic in New Player Help
Thanks guys. Yeah, it seems to me that sometimes the game forces detection - I don't like it. I was hoping for some gear that added to effective stealth level. Maybe that would help. Granted I find it hard to play a non-stealth character, so I guess I'm stuck with it. Mal -
Is there a way to increase ones stealth ability? Too often I find I am being detected. Thanks, Mal

So I go to his ship. I'm a Shadow. At first I figure I will take fight the first group of droids. I am in a group of four. In less than three seconds I have no less than six guys firing on my, and I'm dead. So I figure I should stealth around. I get to a door I have to unlock to get through to I guess Vivicar. There are more security droids, and the same thing happens again. No less that six guys open fire on me and I'm dead in less than 3 seconds. What the heck am I doing wrong? Thanks, Mal

Sorry, I am 4-boxing (4 comps, keyboards, mice). I play the same class, as its easier to manage. That's why they are on different accounts. Mal
