  1. As a melee dps class they really have absolutely no idea for a grapple ability, that is more of a tanking thing. honestly sentinels/marauders are very well off as it is.
  2. You say this as if a huge lack of tanks isn't an issue on every other MMO out there. it seems worse in this game compared to say WoW, because instead of pairing 3 dps per tank they pair 2 dps, raising the number of tanks needed per dps by (I believe 50%) the shortage isn't really a shortage. I'm a tank, and I find tanking in this game extremely gratifying, and would not want it dumbed down at all.
  3. I could totally see this working, because in the lore their are even force users who dedicate their life to neutrality in the force, and follow a person or path rather than the light side or dark side of the force, and whether they were good or bad or called upon the light side or the dark side of the force, they still represented a neutral faction. An example would be the imp knights from legacies (not the same empire faction as in TOR) they used white crystals to display their neutrality between the two sides, and were not harbinger's of the dark side, or enforcer's of the light, but simply force sensitive soldiers who were trained to command the force properly, and could be just as strong as any light or dark sided force user. The non force using classes have already been pointed out, and a bounty hunter with a different name, and a smuggler with a different name would be easy enough to conceive. (ex. Pirates,). would it be cool? yes. Would I want it however? not exactly. I feel it would be too many resources for the developers, and how would we reason them into the flashpoints, and operations, since there isn't much reason for the cartel to take interest in many of the things in the flashpoints and operations.
  4. Don't confuse factions with alignments. I am a light sided sith but I am still a sith, and I still fight for the empire. my light side choices still help the light side cause as do the evil and neutral choices, all in different ways. If a "good" soldier and a "bad" soldier are fighting in a war for the same country, they are still allies in the same war, even though they may have different views and would make different choices in given situations, and despite those views both of them are acquisitioned the same gear. Now that being said I like the idea of armors and weapons for certain alignments that say I am a good guy you can tell because of my armor, or hey I'm evil you can tell because of my armor, but I think they should be cosmetic and definitely not on relics where being neutral restricts our usage of items in the later game.
