I would rather have an inflated economy than no economy. And it's not the economy that I am so concerned about. I won't be able to afford upgrades, mounts, repairs etc., while leveling. Without slicing, I have to rely on a broke economy. Everyone has multiple farmers, so selling mats won't work because no one will have large sums of cash just sitting around.

I am saying a lot less will be bought because there will be a lot less money in the economy. It's pretty basic. I am also saying for people leveling, it will be difficult to afford 48k mount and training not to mention rising repair costs. The slicing nerf sucks bad for people leveling.

If they had to nerf slicing, they should have removed any cost involved in sending companions on missions. And please don't hit me with the lame "Slicing was just hitting a button and getting free money" nonsense. SWTOR crafting is all just pusing a button and getting something in return.

I think you don't understand basic economics. Slicing was the only thing infusing money into the economy. Obviously you will just have to wait and watch trade house sales dry up as slicing money made to this point begin to dry up.

First, it costs to send companions on farming missions. Second, there is no money being infused into the economy with slicing gone. As the slicing credits dry up, so will your sales in the trade house.

All the crafting professions are just clicking a button. It's not like you have to take time to make items...you just have a companion to make it. You don't have to run missions..just have a companion to do it..just a click. maybe they should get rid of companions because it makes the game too easy for those who wanted slicing nerfed?

I bought the game to play the quest lines and end game raid with friends with some pvp tossed in. I don't enjoy crafting at all. I didn't buy the game to get a job crafting within it. I am an adult with kids. I don't want to take up game time farming. Bioware, when you nerfed Slicing, you basically forced me to get a job within the game by having to gather for money and professions. So now I am running around to nodes when I could be enjoying the story line. For the 48k it will cost me to buy my first mount and training etc., I will have to save just about everything, avoid buying upgrades or new gear, and spend a ton of time doing what I hate: Farming. IF I WANTED TO FARM NODES, I WOULD GO BACK TO WORLD OF WARCRAFT. For me, the story line and questing are enough along with being able to buy new gear and upgrades etc. With slicing, I could have done that. Instead, I will have to waste valuable time farming for money. Thanks guys. Not sure I will renew a game where I have to rely on farming for income.

So the level 25 mount is a total of 48k credits. Please tell me what profession or professions i am supposed to do that will yield even close while paying for repairs and everything else.

I am flat out telling you, if you all dont fix the economy or fix slicing, i am going straight back to world of warcraft where at least i didnt have to buy game currency from the chinese just to afford mounts, leveling, and leveling professions. With the slicing nerf, you just made every gold farmers day.

You did a couple of things with the slicing nerf..first, the economy of the game is terrible for levelers, so by removing the primary source of income for a lot of players, you just sucked a ton of money out of the economy. Second, I now skip all those pretty missions and do pvp so i can afford to leveling professions. If i could sell the mats in the tradehouse, that would be great, but it just isnt happening. Gratz because i will be leveling pvp primarily so i can afford to level professions.

Thanks to the slice nerf, I am now running all pvp just to make money..no more story line for me. thanks bioware for making changes based on input from habitual whining.
