  1. One thought on this, as someone who does oper healing in NIM content, I feel like the direction of this is good, but the execution isn't great. In aoe-dtps heavy situations it would likely require you to be more careful with keeping probes up on more targets to sustain the group health, but it still doesn't remove the spammable nature of the ability, with kolto waves still being dead aside of situations where you cannot reach your group or cannot stack to reach everyone, whereas kolto waves should be the dominant to-go aoe ability when healing entire group. Additionally kolto injection spam encourages heavy positional stacking in group at all times, whereas an operative feels more natural keeping dot heals up and generally being more mobile, with the base class being the only 'melee' healer in game. I was thinking modifying the injection to grant a buff that interacts with kolto waves would help resolve this. Kolto injection could give the target and those around a buff that lasts Xsec and expires when target receives healing from kolto waves. The buff could either increase the healing received from the kolto waves for the duration of the channel, or increase the healing of the first tick of kolto waves. To clarify I'm suggesting one or the other, not both. In my opinion this would help go back to the more dot/buff playstyle of the operative, make them more mobile in terms of positioning rather than always be reliant on positioning of the group, and take away the spammy injection playstyle completely (due to cooldown of waves), while returning kolto waves as the dominant aoe-heal ability used for healing up a large amount of the group. Oh, and also this maintains the change being an injection upgrade, to keep it in the same position on the skill tree. Thanks for reading.
  2. Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, so far I've found 2 problems in 2 different classes: Scrapper: Setup shot (autocrit after using root ability) either doesn't work consistently or at all. Not all my following direct damage abilities seemed to autocrit. Shadow: 2 cloaks tactical seems to be broken for me and some other people, with the second charge no appearing at all. I heard it works for others though. For me, I flipped my assassin to shadow on 7.0 launch.
  3. Hi, I was just hoping for some clarity regarding the swap for force-origin characters upon release of 7.0. I currently have a dark 5 sith assassin up-to-date with the story, who I was hoping to swap to a jedi shadow as his primary combat style. I have both, light 5 and dark 5 legacy unlocks. If I understood you correctly, however, will I need to get him to the point where he has at least +1 net alignment points before 7.0 launch in order to convert his primary combat style to jedi shadow? Or will the legacy unlocks suffice in converting him? If he remains at dark 5 will I be locked into keeping him an assassin as the primary combat style? Thanks for the communication, a lot of clarity is needed on the matter as I feel like there is a lot of confusion on it.

  10. First of all I feel this has not gotten enough attention. First of all this thread has slowly drifted away and no fix has been implemented. The hairstyle is known to be stretching in some places as we can see here and here. Second of all please make the back look a bit more naturally and not 'chopped off in a perfect line,' which makes the character's hair look more 'artificial.' Finally, I would not be sure if people would agree, I would really like to see the braids loose instead of attached. It would make the hair feel more realistic. If possible make the hairstyle unlock 2 seperate hairstyles, of which one would be attached and second loose, so people have a choice if they find this as too much as a clipping problem.   11. I can play a mercenary and put up decent numbers and contribution. I also play my serenity shadow from time to time. The amount of cooldowns is just pathetic while comparing. The mercenaries crying likely has a reason behind it. Are you trying to imply that mercenaries are viable in solo-ranked with random composition? They have nothing that would prevent then being torn into parts in first seconds of match. A player can be amazing and the best of class but when you get stunned and focused in less than 4 seconds (if you break stun you get stunned again) you just cannot do anything!
  12. First of all I am suggesting changes. If you need to remind yourself of the meaning of "whine" grab a dictionary. Second of all you do not contribute at all so please think before you post next time. Finally I play a mercenary in PvP so I posted suggested changes I believe would help.
  13. Example: What class are you going to talk about? Mercenary Is it overpowered or underpowered? If so, how? Considerably underpowered compared to other classes. What changes are you proposing? Damage dealt is fine. I am proposing buffing defensive abilities such as "suit FOE" to reduce damage dealt by DoT effects by 50% and redesign "Decoy" + make it a baseline ability for mercenaries. Make it an ability that is on a 'standby' mode for up to 20 seconds (like adrenaline rush) and make the mercenary immune to all type of damage for 4 seconds when he gets attacked. How would this affect this class' performance in ranked and unranked pvp? Ranked: The "suit FOE" would allow the mercenary to avoid more damage from the currently popular assassin class, making them live longer and allow to contribute more to the team. "Decoy" would allow the mercenary to avoid being globalled by burst classes and make it an emergency type of button which could make the enemy switch target. Unranked: Pretty much the same as for ranked. Would make the class easier to escape if it would find itself in the middle of all enemies. What effect would it have on other classes in ranked and unranked pvp? It will take more time for DoT type classes to kill the mercenary. All classes would be unable to globall the mercenary healer or damage dealer for the 4 seconds due to the decoy. Would it have any positive/negative effect on pve? If so, what would it be? It would increase the mercenaries survivability. To avoid the mercenaries decoy being too powerful some bosses could bypass the decoy during the whole fight or specific cast (I have the kell dragon from Scum & Villany in mind) in order to prevent "bypassing mechanics." Any things worth to compare before and after the change? Before: Mercenary is under great pressure from DoT type classes. The mercenary does not have any abilities that would prevent the class from being globalled. After: Mercenary will have slightly more time to live under pressure from DoT type classes. Mercenary can now prevent being killed in seconds due to the "Decoy" buff.

It is time to see what ideas does the community have to balance specific classes which are in their opinion underpowered/overpowered. Please fill out that form in replies: What class are you going to talk about? Is it overpowered or underpowered? If so, how? What changes are you proposing? How would this affect this class' performance in ranked and unranked pvp? What effect would it have on other classes in ranked and unranked pvp? Would it have any positive/negative effect on pve? If so, what would it be? Any things worth to compare before and after the change? Please fill this out in a logical way and be serious. Some classes (assassins, mercenaries) may need major changes while other classes (operatives, juggernauts) could use some minor adjustments. Thank you for taking time as I am really interested what original ideas players have.
