  1. Uhh, well for the actual voice itself, Jedi Knight is great. However... He always sounds exactly the same. There is no emotion in him. Not even if I choose like the dark side choice, or maybe the rude dialogue choice. If Luke Skywalker had this voice in the original SW saga, he would be saying his typical "NOOOOOOOOOO" in a very calm, voice. Like : Vader: " Luke, I AM your father! ! " Luke: "No."
  2. Hehe, nice game ! Here's mine, too from yesterday, I'll make it a little shorter though.. Starting the hutball as a lvl 33 Jedi Guardian with my newly made focus spec, I rush for the ball. However, we have pretty bad luck as the enemy team gets the ball and scores almost immediatelly. This happens 2 times in a row. Then we woke up. The republic was ragging and we were all like "god damnit we will destroy them ! " , and so we did. Little did we know that they had premade... The game actually ended 3:0 for the Imperium, but it was the best game I ever had. Republic had very unexperienced players, mostly noobs, but they really tried their best. I could tell from the chat and from watching them in the battle. Thank you, Republic players for beign friendly and trying your best. Even if we lost, we won in my opinion. Not in the game, but in the hearts. For the republic !

    Need Your Advice

Take what you like and what you think looks awesome. Let's pretend you watched all the SW movies. Pick one favorite character and then pick a class in swtor. Did you like Darth Vader? Take the sith marauder. Did you mostly like Obi-Wan Kenobi? Try Jedi Guardian. Every class is viable for PvP.
  4. Yeah, agreed. I described it really bad so... but you get the idea. I would like to see some player - player conversations, it would add whole new RP levels, and even those who do not like, or even hate RPing would love it.
  5. Seriously...? Uhm. .. well, you see, WoW is an excellent game despite all the bad things in it. It really is an amazing game, I've played WoW for a very long damn time and I had fun. So, honestly, if this would be a star wars clone of WoW, I'd be like the happiest person ever. Because, why the hell not? I mean, what's wrong with that. Why should someone invent a new idea if the old one is working very well ? I don't see the point why everybody is saying OH WOW COPY WOW COPY RUN AWAY... Then you can say Aion, Lineage 2, Guild Wars, Runes for Magic (or what is it called).........I can continue all day long, you could say all of them are WoW clones. Because of similar spells/controls/etc.. Personally, I think this game is amazing. And all the problems can be solved, all the missing content and stuff can and will be added sooner or later. It took WoW 6 years to get where it is now. And it still isn't perfect, and in some players opinions it's crap. SWTOR is walking the same direction. They are doing the baby steps right now, but growing up so much faster than let's say Blizzard. I say, for all the haters and complainers, if you actually want this game to be good, don't worry, it will be. For the ones that just want to hate - get the f*** out and go play checkers. 6. Title says it all. When I enter a Hutball WZ, there is this super-epic-awesome-cool music playing at the start, and that kinda sets me up to the match. But then after lets say 5 minutes I'm sooooooooo bored. Because there is like no music at all. Ofc something plays from time to time but that's simply NOT enough. I wanna see music for everything. For example, WoW had music playing ALL the time, ALL the damn time. DIdn't mater if you were standing in Stormwind city, or in battleground, or if you were leveling up, the music was there always. It wasn't silent. SWTOR is sooo silent. ESPECIALLY at warzones...
  7. Excellent idea. I can already see 10 players cheering to my "goal strike" winning the game.
  8. Sorry if this is wrong forum to post this in, couldn't decide between PVP and Flashpoints... but anyways. I have this idea that would bring flashpoints, and eventually whole game to a new level. Let's take look at The Eseless flashpoint. At some point, as a republic player, you are going to aboard an imperium ship, right? And at some point, you encounter a sith. Now imagine all this, with the fact that the sith would be an actual enemy player. I've been thinking about this idea and it would be done somehow like this: For eseless you need 2 man group if I remember correctly. So you'd have to wait in group finder for one guy to fill your group and another 2 guys from the enemy side to fill their group. When the groups would be created, both groups would start their flashpoints. I didnt played the imperial version of the eseless, or IDK if there actually is that, but let's assume that imp version is the same, just that they actually aboard the republic ship. So, both groups would normally do their fp. But, the first group that gets to the point where they're gonna aboard enemy ship, they are actually going to aboard it, and then wait for the other group to get to that point too. But, instead of the enemy group aboarding their ship, they would confront each other. Now here comes the interesting part. So the group 1 aboards enemy group 2 ship. They confront. Now, there would be an actual player vs player conversation. Both sides would have some pre-scripted lines, something like: group 2:"Stop right there. You made a big mistake by aboarding this ship." and then the group 1 would have 3 choices how to talk back, etc etc. So, then they would simply fight each other. 2vs2 / 4vs4 pvp. Now, lets say that the group 1 (rebs) wins the fight. The group 2 (imps) retreats to the other room and lock themselves, and the group 1 simply continues the flashpoint like they normally do. Now the group 2 decides to actually do the same, which would be aboarding the enemy ship as well, and the flashpoints just continue as normal. And there would be some small reward for those who wins the pvp fight of course. What do you think? It isn't perfect but I think it can be done, and it can be done very well. Thanks for responses. All of them. \ May the force be with you. Naathaniel, the Jedi Guardian.
  9. I have AMD 2,8GHz double core processor, overclocked to 3,2GHz ATI Radeon HD 4600 1GB 4GB RAM Win 7 64bit So, I've read like a BILIONS of threads about low FPS and lags in warzones. First, to the lags. I've had NO lag problems at all, my internet connection is fairly good, so lag doesn't bother me in swtor AT ALL. Now I know a lot of you guys have been complaining about this bug, something like "abiltiy delay" or so, well guess what, I thought I have this bug too, then I set my ability delay or what it is called, in options, to 0. From that point, I haven't noticed a SINGLE lag or ANYTHING that even LOOKS like a lag. Again, maybe it's just me, maybe I'm one of the chosen ones. I don't know. Second, to the FPS drop "bug". I've noticed, that in warzones, my FPS would drop below 20, sometimes even 10. Mostly, when Warzone didn't started yet, and we were still waiting at the spawn, my FPS was just great. Then, when the fight started and from now on, FPS wouldn't go higher then 15, not even on our spawn. Well, I've tried setting all graphic options to LOW, didn't help. So I simply googled a little bit, found this guide - , used it, and guess what ? I have NO, absolutely NO problems with FPS AT ALL, including warzones. As said in the guide, I overclocked my graphic card, used the game boosted as well as setting up my ATI control center. Well, this may not work if you do not own ATI graphic card, my apologies, but I'm sure you can find something like that for your own card. My conclusion - SWTOR is the best MMO I've ever played, and I'm just sick of all those players crying and complaining about e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. By that I mean, balance issues, bugs, blah blah blah... just enjoy the game, if you do not enjoy it, take a break and come back after some time. If you still don't enjoy it - then ****, we don't want your complaining. May the force be with you, Nathaniell, the Jedi Guardian
