  1. It's under the category of the tactical ones... or the super easy ones. I resubbed just to play this. Is there a hard version coming out? I havn't had a sub since this time last year, and that's all that's been added? I'm a little disappointed. I like difficult new group content.
  2. Kotor II doesn't count because it sucks. It was fun, but not as fun as Kotor I. Yavin IV was the planet with the rich story that you couldn't visit. I always wanted to because I just felt there were going to be awesome dark side items to be found there.
  3. There is no massive sequel planned as the MMO bubble has popped.
  4. Hit Girl would be some sort of operative/scoundrel. She would not be a sniper or gunslinger because she does karate moves in the movies. Probably IMP side because her suit is purple.
  5. I hope Yavin IV is coming. It was one of the most interesting locales in the Knights of the Old Republic. I hope there's Mandalorian mercenaries thrown into the mix too.
  6. I would fully support your opinion if it wasn't so short like you said. I watched the cutscenes on youtube so I know what I'm missing. Bioware/EA could make up for this deficit by expanding on the planet with installments, quarterly. Monthly installments would be better. If Bioware/EA treated their content like a tv series and released episodes like they originally planned, I probably wouldn't have any gripes with the story. As it is now, it's a condensensed made for tv movie.
  7. I got all 3 of my 50's to 55 now. Haven't finished Makeb on any of them. Haven't felt particularly motivated in exploring the Makeb storyline. I don't care about that planet and I do not like how they say the empire is losing this war. So the brief storyline, not a big fan of it. That upsets me that the storyline is pretty tame for a game touted as big on storylines. The expansion doesn't expand on much. I think less was introduced now then when TFB or EC were introduced. The new flashpoints. Or should I say, the old flash points. Really? There's nothing new about them. Don't kid yourself. That's not new content. That's a rehash. Now I went from 50's grinding the same old flashpoints over and over again to .... grinding more of the same old flashpoints over and over again. Again, not expanding on the game a whole lot there. The new operation. I look forward to playing it this weekend. Guildies resubbing for the expansion coming back and getting geared up. We should do a run this weekend and see what it's all about. Hopefully something fun. However, I don't see my ADHD getting satisfied by this one operation that has a queueable storymode. Doesn't that mean the mechanics are easy enough that anyone can do it? I'm just a little wary. The new dailies pay less than old ones. SERIOUSLY. Where's the challenge in that? It's a no brainer to just grind the old ones at a faster speed than these new ones that pay out less. The changes to skills I like. My mercenary has more oompf in everything now. I like that. I feel confident that I can dps or heal now with my trusty 'ol merc. I didn't quite get my tracer spam back. But it's alright. I seem to proc unload all the time now. I'm a big fan of that. My sorc healer got better. I like that. My pt tank is tanky. Not sure why some of the new gear has alacrity on it. Unless you're an idiot you pretty much know alacrity in all shapes and forms has nothing to do with tanking. All tanking is; "Look at me look at me!" All said and done I really think I might be finding something else to do until they release the next content patch. Summer is here. It's time to go outside. But thinking about this. I was pretty well excited about scum and villainy. But realistically there's about as much here as 1.1 came with.
  8. Go look up the makeb commendations vendor on fleet (Next to the corelia vendor). Rakata armorings, mods and ehancements for sale. Purchasable with planet comms.
  9. That's what you get! Welcome to the shortbus. I really truly hope every marauder was seriously nerfed to the point where they're unplayable. Then everyone will abandon the marauder which has been OP since 1.2. It's about time mercenaries get more loving and marauders get some hating.
  10. Damn Mass Effect DLC's. On number 3, most of those DLC's should of been in the game. Like having the last living alien with you to add depth to an otherwise bland experience. I mean seriously, ME3 sucked. ME1 sucked me in and I couldn't get enough of it. ME2, a new direction, still I liked it. ME3, no changes, less content and freedom of movement overall. Who the hell made Mass Effect? Oh wait....
  11. I think the OP's bias is what alot of beta testers were saying. Bioware ignored their critiques, didn't fix bugs and did not have essential content ready when the game shipped. What swtor is now is what it should of been on the release date. And then it would be somewhat competitive with other mmo's. Because he was a beta tester you have to take in that he did make his constructive critiques. However, Bioware ignored them. If you havn't spoken to people that beta tested the game. Try it. People were pretty let down by the whole experience. I mean Karagga's Palace wasn't finished when the game shipped. They rushed it out the door and bonethrasher would bug and wipe everyone over and over and over. Is the game any different now? Well yes. However it's not likely we'll see the type of changes that need to happen. Guilds still really serve no purpose other than an extended friends list. Massive loading times. Multiple unnecessary loading screens. Not everything is going to be constructive. Sometimes you need to just call things as they are. This new expansion, I'm going to play it until I finish both of the new ops in storymode. Then I'm going to unsub. Swtor is what it is, and gets boring very very fast. Things that should be here are not. We're still in pre-season ranked warzones. If preseason is the first year of the game, when is the actual season? Or how long until they cut that idea/feature out of the game?
  12. On PTS I was hearing it wasn't worth it to raise crit chance above 25% and stack power/alacrity instead. Is that the final for 2.0? Or should I stay with the 35% unbuff I got now? Wondering.
  13. So I'm sitting here playing the expansion today and I see tons of people on the same planet as me. What the hell is this. Bioware needs to reinforce the restriction on the expansion so that no bad players are allowed past level 50. It was a perfect system before, now it's broken. I'm just kidding. I'm just surprised there wasn't some sort of post like this after all the crying people did over not being early accessors.
  14. Your guys defintion of new guy vs noob is my way of saying *** hat and the new guy. My guild is very progression based. However we pug alot of things and there's 1 thing we can't work with. People who don't listen. I've never had anyone tell me how to play my class or how I'm supposed to play the game. I read on the forums and you can put 2 and 2 together. There are rotations and specific specs for different things. If someone shows up with the wrong thing, my guild politely informs them of what's wrong. And then asks them to correct it. Like a fresh 50 tank in a fp that didn't pick up recruit gear or make 124 armorings and mods for their gear. We can work with anyone. But they have to be willing to work with us. If I see a mercenary in a flash point using flame thrower + missle blast + tracer missle, I'll say something, discreetly though. I love my mercenary, I know those specs by heart. But some people, no matter what they just won't play well with others. Instead of a gear check. I would be in favor of a community based rating. A rating on how well you work with others. Like I said, I can work with anyone if they can work with me. So a quick peek at something that's basically a references page off of a resume. If you see a bunch of bad numbers, you probably don't want to play with that person. Just a thought.
