  1. Good idea dude. I feel you there. As a marauder I have to either use my dumb robot who annoys me, or Quinn.... who also annoys me. I want to use vette or Jaesa... I like that Vette uses sarcasm, and Darkside Jaesa is Crazy... which is awesome. Unfortunately, neither heal. Good to see some constructive feedback on the boards.
  2. TDD was probably used for developing service calls and the like, but it would be pretty much useless for a huge majority of game logic. I am sure the devs used TDD when and where it made sense. THe fact of the matter is that nothing, game, app, program, or otherwise is ever going to be released 100% bug free. There are always going to be issues that arise once the finished product is released to the public. Those bugs get reported, the devs triage them, and they are fixed in due time. The statement about simple looking bugs taking more time than bugs that look more complicated is absolutely true. The main reason is that it is always easy, for someone who has absolutely NO idea what the code looks like, to state that such and such bug should be easy to fix and feature "A" should be so simple to implement. I am an application developer and my clients always try to tell me how easy programming features should be. Sometimes I have to fight the urge to say "Well if it is so easy, why did you hire me to develop it instead of doing it yourself?"
  3. So... what's your point? If you don't like it... unsub and be gone.
  4. This. Acting like a child really isn't the answer here. There a specific forums to report bugs. You are talking about the devs being idiots when you are to stupid to post in the correct forum. Think before you post.
  5. How bout you lead by example and be the first one to quit in protest. We will follow right after you... promise.
  6. When are people going to realize that no one cares about you quitting, or the reasons for such. Take care now... bye bye then.
  7. Core i7 950 @ 3.07 16 gigs ram 7200 rpm HDD Sapphire HD 6970 stock clock I run the game using three 1920x1080 monitors in eyefinity with all settings maxed, nothing turned off. That's 5760x1080 Game runs great. I think a lot of you people who are whining have lower end machines and aren't fessing up to it. That or, like I saw a few posts back, you haven't updated the drivers on your GPU in ages. Another case of vocal minority thinking that they are the majority...
  8. Ummm, your cpu is a bottleneck because the game engine is garbage? How bout your cpu is bottleneck because your cpu is garbage? hmmm? That makes more sense to me.
  9. Ummm... False. I doubt that highly. With that card there is no way. You would have to overclock it to the moon and like, liquid nitrogen cool it.
  10. What the eff are you talking about? Also, work on your English, please.
  11. OMG!!!!!!!ONEONEONE I didn't get exactly what I wanted immediately! I didn't get instant gratification!!!!!!!!! QQ some more. You think you are the only person putting in support tickets for stuff? Things need to go through an escalation process. I'm sure they will fix you issues. The ratio of customer service agents to players is not 1:1. It will take a little time.
  12. I agree. Personally, I think this launch has gone super smooth, all the way back to early access. I remember WoWs launch and The Burning Crusade expansion launch and those were just awful.
  13. So I take it you have never been part of a AAA MMO launch before eh? This happens. It will smooth out. Personally, I haven't been in a queue for more than 30 mins when trying to log in during peak times. Suck it up. Toss on a movie or a show while you wait. Read a book. Log in before you start making dinner. Quit QQing.
