PvP is a joke in this game....It has been a nerf fest since launch. I'm sad to see that it hasn't changed. All threads that ask for a nerf of a class, need to be deleted immediately. You moderators need to start thinking about a rule change.

I just came back to check out the forums! Why am I not shocked that people are still crying about maras? Once the kiddies understand that every class should not be able to beat every other class, then we will start to understand what a "role" is. Stop crying and stop pulling numbers out of thin air! 5%, 5 seconds, this, that...You have never looked into the effect that those reductions would have. What you do know, is that you have lost by a few seconds or a few % of health. So, you figured that those numbers would work for you. Move along, and let this game die. The devs already showed us how much they care about pvp....They don't.

I am horrible at PvP. Maras/Sents are the main problem. My solution to this problem is to nerf them...I am not sure how, maybe adjust the cool downs of the bubbles? Take away vanish? Nerf vanish to 1 second? Lower the DPS a little? I remember this one time, I target a mara/sent and he died really fast...I mean super fast. He must have not had all his bubbles? I enjoyed that fight. I suggest that we leave that aspect alone. Why didn't all maras/sents just roll juggs/guards? I would much rather fight them...

Yea, after reading around, I would assume the article was referring to game updates and not actual expansion packs. Even then, it is still a red flag. I don't believe it would be healthy to pump out 2 updates in such a short time. Also, I am not sure why they would be banking on boosting subscriptions with game updates... Game updates are free and lets be honest, the last "game update" actually cost them money because they ended up giving away a free month to the majority of players. Also, I believe they lost subscriptions since 1.2...It makes zero sense to believe 1.3 will add subscriptions until they can prove that a update can actually add revenue. I know what can add revenue in the short term though...A expansion pack.

LOL Well, reading around, I know some people would be happy, but other people...not so much. I am talking about fixing Ilum, new wz's etc.

I think the major thing that was overlooked is the fact that they want to come out with 2 expansions this quarter to make up for the lost revenue. This to me is a major red flag waiving in front of us.

Take 2 minutes to watch this short video and tell me that TOR is "thriving". I agree with you, that we need more dialogue between the devs and the player base about PvP. The problem is, they are most likely going to make it a "expansion" and charge us for it...

Nope, but if they focus on PvP, I think they can retain the subs that they have and possibly start to add some. But, they need to ask themselves why they are losing subs. I tend to think it is PvP. Honestly, how much PvE do they think they need? They have spent millions of dollars in voice acting and PvE crap. I believe it is time to put some of our money towards PvP content. I am hoping they aren't just trying to kick the can down the road and milk it's current subscribers. I know I am not alone when I say that I will not be paying for any expansions unless they focus on PvP...

I wonder if the 2 expansions that are coming out have anything to do with PvP? If so, what would you like to see? I personally would like to see a few more warzones . More specifically a larger warzone with some PvE included (similar to Alterac Valley). A warzone that adds that "star warsy" feeling with tons of storm troopers etc. I guess we will have to wait and see.

At some point, you have to start factoring in gear and more importantly, skill. When I see this happen, It's usually some guy that thinks he can stand there and let the sent/mara beat on him like it is pve, lol. Honestly, if sents get nerfed, so will shadows, then guardians, then gunslingers and so on, lol. This crap needs to stop... For as many years as some of you cry babies have claimed to play mmo's I would think that you have learned that it is impossible to balance them. They have a hard enough time trying to balance fps's, lol...
