  1. That's exactly the course I followed and I also got the happy e-mail from her.
  2. Characters, with titles included where relevant: Best: Party Time Cool Party / Big Time Cool Party Baconarmor Sauceboss State-farm Claims'adjuster the Heartless Worst: Umadbro Lolyeahumad (or something very similar) Wildcard: Darth Dubstep
  3. I have a Marksmanship Sniper at 50, he is my first (and currently my only) 50, I love him and don't regret rolling Sniper for a minute. That said, a lot of my enjoyment was playing through the amazing Imperial Agent story, and I don't play him at 50 that much; the Flashpoints and Operations that I've done have been fun, but I'm distracted by alts, so in addition to my usual alt-itis, there's something about the class that doesn't hold my attention all that well. Some further thoughts: PVE: Good damage, but squishy. Successful solo PVE required a significant degree of care until I finally got the healing companion in the mid 30s and picked up some fairly key skills (like Followthrough) after which things got substantially easier. In Flashpoints and Operations, I do feel quite useful because I can stay far away from the center of the action (reducing the healing burden compared to say, melee DPS that has to be close to a boss and potential AOEs, etc.) and contribute a lot of damage because nothing is paying attention to me as long as I don't go crazy before the tank has aggro. PVP: I felt like a god as a Sniper in lower-level PVP (below 30 or so), but at 50 I rarely bother because it's just not fun. Disclaimer: I'm really not particularly good at PVP, so that's definitely part of the problem. However, what usually happens is that I get bounced around like a ping-pong ball and can't get much done. If no one pays attention, I can wreak havoc, but that's rare: generally I'm (rightly) seen as a soft target and get taken out. Huttball is particularly depressing in this regard.
  4. Here's a screenshot of the E-20 Sonic Saboteur, as requested: http://imageshack.us/f/443/e20lv.jpg/
  5. I'll see about a screenshot later today. I found one on the GTN, so I think it's a random drop, but I don't know the original source.
  6. E-20 Sonic Saboteur is what my Powertech uses. It's colossal and looks great. I re-modded it, of course. http://www.torhead.com/item/3iAFZGC/e-20-sonic-saboteur
  7. With regard to your spoiler: In terms of story, Imperial Agent is amazing. I think my only real complaint about it was that the part of Act 3 that took place on Voss was somewhat pointless, though it did have some good moments, at least. Everything else was very good to excellent, particularly Act II, which was just fantastic. For reference, I played almost entirely LS. I'm quite enjoying Sith Warrior as well (level 38, approaching Hoth), though Act I was stronger than Act II has been so far. I'm less thrilled with Sith Inquisitor. The end of Act I has left me cold and I've been having trouble getting motivated to make more progress with the character.
  8. Ha ha, yes. This was great. Your master is SO VERY ANGRY and your character just deadpans the question. I also loved the "assassinating the assasins" line that someone else mentioned, it's amazing as a male Imperial Agent in particular. Doctor Lokin has a great line out in the field about how his qualifications as a medical doctor have...lapsed. The delivery is perfect.
  9. OP, those are nice guns! I really like the Manhunter's Pistol that Mercs get after choosing their advanced class. It reminds me of Deckard's gun from Blade Runner. My Powertech found a massive hand cannon on the GTN. It goes well with his large frame, and is particularly intimidating when pointed in someone's face. When I get home I'll see what it is specifically and provide a link to Torhead; screenshots may be available.
  10. A Sage calling for nerfs to other classes. How delightful! The comedy writes itself, folks.
  11. This is true. There is also one case (so far, at least, I'm not through Act 1 yet) where she prefers that you kill the target because it's more honorable:
  12. My Marauder is 37, using Annihilation, and I find I need to keep an eye on the bars a reasonable amount but I'm getting better at it with practice and it doesn't seem to impede me too much. On the subject of Rupture's coming off cooldown, I noticed there's actually a distinct noise for it when that triggers, so that helps, at least in PVE when there's less to keep up with. Overall, I'd be curious to try Carnage but even at this point I don't see how it could stack up to the fun, the pace, and the damage of Annihilation.
  13. I was able to complete this quest twice last week or so, but since then it's been bugged every time I've tried it. Quite vexing, and I've reported it as well in hopes of an eventual fix.
  14. I have to admit, that's rather amazing! Maybe as a reward you should get both ACs.
  15. This may not be much help but as a Marauder at 28 I popped defensive cooldowns at the start, used a Biochem buff, and focused down the assistant first, then worked over the other guy, using my medpac somewhere in the fight and interrupting as needed. Obfuscate and bleed-heals from Annihilation were helpful, but those don't apply to Juggernaut, which is why this may not be that much use to you. Edit: If it gets annoying, don't feel bad about bringing a friend. Some missions are a hassle and there's no reason to frustrate yourself for the sake of pride when you could get past them and move on to better things.
