I have a marauder and love it (rage and or carnage are amazing in pvp, but rage certainly does better in crowded areas like novare or voidstar. At least from when I play it. But then again I know many carnage and even an anni marauder that wreck everything in almost any warzone. I think its which one you like better. I'm making a jedi knight at the moment and I'm not sure which to choose, I think having the option of being a tank on the side is nice, and u can switch to tank form in a huttball when you're carrying for a little longer life. Jugg's do have amazing dps as rage spec, since their smash hits harder than a marauder's. As a sorc healer seeing half my health disappear in one shot really is hard to predict and difficult to heal through. The one advantage marauders have is with all the cooldowns they have better survivability. If you focus a jugg they can melt fairly fast (assuming jugg is not tank spec)

I'm cuious. Given on torparse that massacre has 600 dps, while ravage has 400, which do u use during gore (massacre beserk spam+scream or ravage+scream)

Yeah... I don't see many dps operatives anymore, but the ones that I do faceroll anyone in 1v1 combat. As a maruader, in optimized WH I might add, if one comes up behind me there is barely anything I can do against it. Especially if they have the stun break ready. If I have my AOE stun up I might be able to escape etc, but other wise im stunlocked the entire time before I die. If we were to apply your suggestion to other classes, marauders should get a CC immunity for 3 seconds after a force leap. Which we all know would be insanely overpowered.

Ultimate burst/opener: Force charge->force crush->ravage->smash->battering assault->scream. Seriously though, this class has the easiest rotation. Jump, build shockwave, smash, repeat.

Your estimations are a little high. SM EC only drops rakata, don't do it if youre already in BH. HM EC only drops 61 gear, so I would recommend at least 2 pieces of black hole. That's what I have ran it in and done it just fine. HM TFB, yeah you do want all 61 pretty much

As a rage spec, I noticed significant damage increase swapping out crit/accuracy mods for power and surge ones. As for anni spec, I cannot really say. In pve it takes about 1/3 of the time (I'm talking about operations) to build a full stack of fury, so the berserk boost that auto-crits your bleed effects might counteract the benefits of a high crit rating.

I know an assassin a few weeks ago who started in recruit and could beat the crap out of a powertech who was in full WH. Obviously this is to illustrate that the assassin is very good and that powertech is terrible.

I've begun switching out the belt and bracers, and changing mods in my current WH armor to other WH mods with power and surge stats. Looking to see if anyone has found the ideal amount of expertise/ combo of mods etc

This isn't that good, considering killing a ball carrier on the goal line gets 5k? defender points. Not entirely sure, but I know killing a ball carrier there has jumped me from 3 or 5k to a 10k medal. You just have to be at the right place at the right time.

Also yes, WH gear is a grind and getting BM gear earlier would be nice and make everything easier. But what is the point of the game if you can gear up and reach the max equipment easily? Then people complain about lack of endgame content.

NO. First of all, the Elite WH gear increase is barely marginal, I'm not even going to buy them, I'm going to buy WH gear for my alts instead. Its no where near 3475 ranked comms each. Also, BM gear is cheap and easy as hell to get, at 100 comms a match (on average if you win about half) it's pretty easy quick, takes about a week doing dailies and the weekly. especially considering if you pvp before 50 you will have 2k reg comms available plus how ever many ranked comms you managed to get after 40 valor. 40 valor is easy to get, especially if you like pvp.

I haven't measured my dps, but I ran it in fully aug'd rakata and I did completely fine

forgot to mention uncensored, mainly because I've only been fighting prime defense

Not to rain on your parade, but when they easily sell for 15k each on the GTN within a few hours I doubt anyone will sell for 12k
