Today I was running a flashpoint, and a group member asked me to quit attacking the cc'd droids. This is my first mmo and I asked but didn't get a response to what cc'd meant. Anybody?

I am a jedi knight, and when I got to Crouscant I met w/trainer that gave me the option of an advanced class. Wanting to explore, thinking I would make the choice later, I ESC from the conversation. Later when I returned, ready to learn and choose my adv. class, I wasn't given an option. He says that I had made my choice. Can anyone help me here?
