Sorry - don't get this comment? - LOTROs anniversary celebrations make the SWTOR fireworks look like an old pile of bantha droppings by comparison.

Agreed - fireworks in any game are totally lame - mount would have been really special. Ah well, at least we won't get the same in-game letter as last year like they did recently in WoW - not until we have a last year As an aside, in WoW they used to get nice pets each year, until shop pets came along - then guess what - fireworks and the like.

Found this interesting - I kind of miss Tabula Rasa - it was getting into decent shape when they canned it. Anyway, I play a Loremaster in LOTRO and the build I have is CC with backup dps and heals - works very well in 5-person groups.

I initially thought this about TSW as well - until someone pointed out a dev post where they noted they were not doing away with the trinity for high-end content but making character builds flexible enough for you to be able to have multiple roles in most of the rest of the content. As a result I am playing a self-heal dps solo, and a tank in groups. So - not QUITE true - the trinity was always there - it just took a while for folks to see where it was needed, where it wasn't, and adapt. As for dual-specs - TSW has multiple available - 16 I think? Could be wrong, as noted, I have only explored 2 so far.

They did not give EVERYONE a free month - just people who met certain criteria. I played lots of toons across lots of servers to try stuff out and did not get it - and am still not over it On topic - a decent sized expansion is a must at some point in my view.

This is kind of interesting. Person submits negative comment. Folks scream 'entitled brat'. Bioware listen to person(s) and add 2 quickbars to preferred. Waiting for the apologies from folks who screamed entitlement.

One would expect to have a refund given - then folks could buy it again if they still wished to under the updated conditions.

And what would it cost to buy more bars in the cartel shop? They need to get something from ex players to keep their revenue coming in. Or you could sub for one month - get lots of coins and bonus coins - get every unlock you think you need and you are set for months free thereafter.

I have noticed that former subscribers who are preferred seem to be able to post here - or at least some claim they are in that boat. I'm pretty sure F2P players not in that status can't. Unable to verify sorry.
