  1. I don't mind the change, but I would like to see Death Field get it's range back if it's no longer our DOT spread mechanic and truly a force power again.
  2. I mean it's level 55 gear, so already 5 behind - 10 behind? I would stop now.
  3. QFE - I suspect they are already shopping for another developer to work on a post Ep VII MMO. It only makes sense, there is a **** ton of new content being developed for that era and SWTOR has already been classified as non-canon.
  4. hopefully not, they said the galaxy collapsed. you don't go from collapse to sucker punching like nothing happened.
  5. mhmm that would be my guess. You'll have the remnants of the Alliance of known entities (Pubs, Hutts, Empire) vs new Empire. And a final story mission which aligns you with them and makes your betrayal complete. very Mass Effect style choicing. However they could also keep it as is, and continue the struggle simply between the light and the dark (which is another concept they haven't touched in a while but was very important in kotor).
  6. except sides don't exist anymore. that's not speculation, that's fact.
  7. people don't like it because it was hard, look at all the people ************ about losing their precious space pixels because of an expansion, they would never have made it in pre-cu. losing a companion that hasn't had any action or content since launch is too much for people to handle apparently.
  8. war games, same as now when you get an empire v empire - improve skills for use against the new empire? lol so many empires. there's a yo dawg joke in here somewhere...
  9. One faction would be much better for a lot of reasons. PvP for one thing would be immensely better and easier to balance server loads for, it would also open up a true rogue style wasteland of every man for himself but pave ways for guild v guild war (possibly even with ships?!) - probably not but just a thought.
  10. Minack is correct, SWG was gutted of it's core style which lead to it's downfall. The only reason it lasted as long as it did and was profitiable for the last several years was casuals. There were quite a few people online when the servers went down for sure.
  11. you literally have no information on how the new chapters will work. subsequently you cannot possibly infer that your play style isn't on anyone's radar.
  12. there's an awful lot of assumptions in there, make sure you pack enough salt where your going if this doesn't meet your expectations (because not meeting expectations is kind of swtor's thing).
  13. this is pretty telling of what this community seems to be as a whole, unwilling to give up something that hasn't meant really anything in 2 years for the chance to have something new and exciting that they may like even more.
  14. QFE. I think most of you are casuals now a days - the people who were at launch blew through content - so maybe it's takes longer but for those hardcore left I think people are vastly over estimating how long this content will actually take. Especially since there is no context yet as a rishi planet is tiny compared to tatooine, and they haven't said how the chapters will work or anything.
  15. You should not reproduce as this is literally the most retarded thing I think I've ever read. *awaits warning*
