Pvp isn't meant to be solo. Stop trying to pretend it is and you will enjoy the game more.

So I was a little bit of a respec fiend upon hitting 50 (ooh, 500k credits, sure! I'll tank that. Sure! I'll dps that. Sure, I'll pvp!) and respecced like 6 times. The cost is now 99k. I hit 50 a week and a half ago. I believe my last respec was on the 26th or 27th. It didn't reset on Tuesday, and I've tried a few times since then (not going through with the respeccing because I'm broke now) but it's still not reset. And every single one of the last customer service tickets I've put in has gotten some god-awful response that doesn't have anything to do with what I wrote the ticket about. Is this a bug or does even thinking about respeccing reset the weekly reset timer? I am so confused. Help please, clarification would be fantastic. I am also posting this in customer support in hopes that the forums-droids are better than ticket-droids and won't think I'm asking to change factions when I ask about why I can't abandon quests. Upon reaching 50 there were 9 quests I couldn't abandon (across 6 different planets that were all a pain to load). When I put a ticket in, CS said they couldn't change dialogue options (lmfao). Unfortunately your best bet is to go finish them and ALWAYS check your quest log before you leave a planet.

Worst part for me was when I just got out of a mind trap and spawned right on top of two lightning balls, one of which spawned for me. Full-> dead in a third of a second, still adjusting to my new naga so I didn't have the thumb speed to press shroud (8 on the naga) in time. Not really a bug, just RNG. It sucks, but I'm optimistic it will get better in the future and fights will be more fun mechanic-wise than RNG based chaos.

I didn't have to grind for weeks getting the "****" beat out of me to start getting my pvp gear. Maybe you just aren't good?

So I just re-watched the first three movies and I realized something: cinematic fights are all about evasion/parrying and then eventually one (or up to 3-4) landing blows that end it. This isn't consistent with TOR's mechanics. Instead, you can hit something well over 200 times before killing it. This extends to TOR's fresh-from-combat cinematics where you have LS/DS choices of killing or not -- after hitting them 200 times, often the DS choice will be hitting them one more time for the kill. How is this explained/supported by the lore? How do you keep immersion from breaking with this in consideration?

Try looking towards raiding if you want competition. Be the first on your server to down boss XYZ on nightmare mode. Mmos typically revolve around raiding and PVP for endgame content. Leveling isn't "group" focused because if it was, you'd be ************ that you can't level alone. The option is there, find people to play with. Do you really want the game to hold your hand and tell you who to play with? How about if it automatically finds someone the exact same level as you with all the same quests completed? Forget actually talking to anyone and interacting, just keep complaining. Ugh, please go back to World of Pandas.

Guy who has 20+ posts in this thread arguing against dps meters is very likely not a very good player. As such, his opinions shouldn't be ignored or voided, but they shouldn't be taken into consideration for optional addons. Make a no-addon guild if you have a problem with them. If swtor is to be played at a competitive level, these things are just needed. You won't get as many serious end-game raiding guilds without at the very least omen and recount (with all of recount's subfeatures such as healing, damage mitigation/avoidance, "stood in fire" damage, etc.). That's all. No more no less. I'm sure addons will be allowed in the future.

Completely wrong. Blizzard would have simply made a pure WoW clone and continued milking us for money like they always have. Are you one of those welfare epics raiders?
