  1. allow us to turn off the ship to port cutscenes. a quicktravel point in our hangars would be great. but also on the normal cooldown.
  2. uhm ok. so not maxed graphics vs maxed? cool. shadows are huge and the max textures dont even work properly right now.
  3. blah blah blah I can't bother with this game. I can't spend $15 to see where it goes, I don't even like star wars or mmos, etc. etc. etc. how many threads of this do we need. glhf dude. the game isn't perfect but it's got some great qualities. hope you come back at some point.
  4. should try it in a warzone and see how it acts. im sure your team will be displeased for a little but its worth seeing.
  5. I would like to make my d20 swrpg character of my account name. He was a Duros.
  6. I just hope this isn't so deeply built into the system as I fear it is. For now, I wouldn't hold my breath. If they had a good response, they would be giving it. In the 100 questions or so that were answered this did come up and the response was that they're aware, but can't say more. Hope for the best, expect the worst. :|
  7. that sounds like a mess. I haven't experienced quite that situation. when I use resolute it just works for me. so ok, I can see what you mean about that situation. as far as chaining abilities and animation stuttering though, from all my experience and things ive read in this thread from others, its related to mashing the keys. or i should say, mashing the keys compounds the other issues enough to make animations stutter and not go off correctly. it's not like i work for bioware or something. or don't want them to improve this part of the game. i'm just saying what works for me and what doesn't because some one might read it, try it, and find it makes things much more bearable for now. edit: its not adapting to a flaw....its adapting to gcd. when I use abilities i hit the next ability I want usually slightly before gcd is over. i'm not avoiding mashing, you just don't need to because you can buffer your next ability inside the tail end of the cooldown of gcd. fair enough though.
  8. uh. alright man, except it works totally fine for me and goes off when gcd is done. always. unless of course I just decide to mash a button long before gcd is even finished. I think you mash because you want to get the earliest timing possible or to avoid dropped inputs. not because it doesn't go off. you don't notice it not going off when you just tap the button once and then start mashing. you just mash from the start. which, from every experience i had, contributes to the issue. in conclusion, stop mashing and you'll find it improves things. doesn't fix things, but certainly improves things. Edit: I play pvp too guys. nice try though. the issue is a combination of factors. one is mashing. if you want to improve the situation for yourself in the short term, stop mashing
  9. so this finally happened to me once. i was mashing just to see, and it occured. so incase anyone reading is not sure, stop mashing. long term this needs a solution asap anyway. but short term so as not to go insane; stop mashing the buttons.
  10. Just today I avoided some sith on Tat, on death wind corridor. Think I'm going to hang around against someone 15lvls+ higher? lol no thanks. hide and change instance. that's what I did. I love pvp and all, but it's not fun when all the pvp you experience is being ganked. I'm ok with it happening sometimes since...that's just how it is, and it makes questing more exciting to try and dodge imperials while also trying to do stuff. Your points are right though. They should really just put in a patch and test it out for a few weeks. Give some xp, valor, maybe a random commendation drop, i dont know, something. see how it goes over with the playerbase and then adjust from there.
  11. Cool. anyone calling for nerfs is a total idiot. the game needs to get going before anyone has even an idea of what organized pvp will actually look like. give it 2-4 months at least before asking for everything to be changed up based on gut reactions.
  12. someone I know who plays wow just complained about this exact problem to me the other night. they were doing a pug raid and were with basically all different people. after being screwed over during the raid they quit out. his specific problem with it was that there were no repercussion for those people who messed up the raid for everyone involved. so i guess just simply put it makes griefing a whole lot easier. which can really make the game a lot less fun for anyone not in a serious guild. same server lfg tool is a good idea though.
  13. this would explain a lot because that's how i play and i've never had this issue personally. not the stuttering at least. the whole game feels a bit off though. definitely room for improvement.
