I got the feeling that was the case, but I didn't have any hard data so I assumed it was an equal probability for each set (Arkanian, Underworld, etc.) and piece (head, legs, etc.). Is there any existing data beyond personal anecdotes?

Yea, I normally do this with about 15 crates at time, but I recently finished leveling some characters via heroics and had a large stash.

I have gotten a few crates that don't have an armor piece. Most do, but some will have a decoration and a companion gift. I estimate it to be about 90% that do have an armor piece, but I concede that may be wrong. That said, I now know what I have to do: grind 10,000 crates and sacrifice a pet or 2 to the RNG god (I assume it's one of the gods from the Gods of the Machine raid).

So I've got every set from the smuggled goods crates unlocked except Resurrected Smuggler (I just need the belt). I had saved up 172 crates and opened them all, but none of them had the belt I needed. Is this intentional? Given that there are 5 possible set types for 2 classes, and each set has 7 pieces (and assuming there's a 90% chance you get a set piece), I would expect the math to look like: P(specific piece) = .9*(1/(5*2*7)) = .01286 (or 1.286%) If that's correct, then the expected number of crates I would need should be about: 1/.01286 = 78 (after rounding up) I opened over 170 when I would think that I would need less than 80. What's going on?

May I ask what changed for Assault Specialist/Innovative Ordinance? I know we got Preemptive strike (the extra dot from Assault Plastique/Thermal Detonator). Does that change the rotation/opener/when to use stims/etc.? The latest rotation I can find is the one used in Bant's gear guide. Should I be using that?

Pardon me, but where does Spinning Kick/Spike go in the rotation/priority queue? According to my tooltip, it has the second highest DPS right behind Spinning Strike/Assassinate and has the same Force cost as Slow Time/Wither, Force Breach/Discharge, and Double Strike/Thrash. I'm guessing we should use it in place of DS/Thrash when we can, but I'd like to get someone else's input.

Press C to bring up your character screen. Click on your name and their should be an option to change how your legacy name is displayed. You can set it to display it the way you have it, as <The Lastname Legacy> or not show your last name at all.

JK/SW have an aggro drop that heals them to full. I know this because I did a 55 HM with a tank that used it.

I've heard some people only have 1 point in First Responders. They claim they crit enough that it's always up or close enough. Is this true/viable? As a healer, would this significantly impact my ability to heal? Thanks in advance.

I admit I don't have a sniper/gunslinger nor do I play my sentinel too often, but I was much more satisfied with their answers. They simply told Sorcs to L2P and heal themselves to full health. Maybe they could buff mend/unnatural preservation to heal the user for 50% of their hp (or whatever %)? Maybe make force barrier heal you while you use it? If DPS could reliably heal themselves in pvp then maybe what they said would be better. Asking a DPS to channel a heal in pvp is just very.... out of touch. In ops, it's just going to cause a problem if the DPS have to do the healer's job as well.

I currently have equipped a DG Boundless Ages relic and a Conquerer Serendipitous Assault relic. However, I only use the DG BA relic when things get bad, i.e. during Kephess' burn phase or when the DPS don't kill all the irregularities in time during TFB. However, things don't normally get bad, so I don't normally use it. Would I be better off switching it out for my Elite War Hero relic?
