I agree I will be honest I used the subject header to get responses from the community, I think bioware has done a great job listening to us so far hopefully will take this article into account.
I do wonder though if the game is "fixable" I do not feel like I am part of the star wars universe when I play tor I feel like I am just grinding my way through plants as quickly as possible to get my characters to level 50.
As of now there is not really any reason for players to just hang out on other planets everyone is just grinding their way through the missions.
I think some cool endgame pvp planets would work as a good place for the people to spend time at but if the planet design is part of the problem. Because each planet is specifically designed for certain level ranges there is very little reason to stick around on a planet after you grind through it.
For instance I loved Alderaan but after I beat the quest lines offered and out-leveled the enemies on the planet staying there became practically useless to me, there were no natural trading hubs on planets to incline me to go to spend more time on them or other incentives, I just checked off that box and grinded on to the next planet.
Ultimately the lack of cohesion between areas of the game, and the uselessness of certain planets once you level past them is ruining the feel of the game and making it feel more like a grind than a universe apart from my own.
